Nope. Crystalls dont really fall off unless you touch them or something brushes against them.
However lots of plants have crystals for m on the leaves. Since we growers often trim our weed as close to the calyx as we can to get rid of leaf (because it improves taste) we often use the leaves that have crystals on them to make hash or hash oil. With 1 plant it would be good for you to keep anything that had trichs on it for hash oil (not worth fucking with for hash with 1 plants trim I.M.O)

But you have the basic idea. Most plants that are seeded will reduce in potency because the energy goes to making seeds. If a plant is pollinated too early then they can reduce yields by almost half. They also grow slower if not waited to seed till the 3rd-4th week.

could breeze knock the trichomes off? like say a breeze comes thru and makes the leaves themselves brush up against that would cause transfer right? it almost looks like snow on the leaves. which means i should get some decent hash if I do it correctly? I just can't wait i'm getting so anxious. breath in breath out.

This is what I mean. Hash oil fucks you up, just as good as hash and its WAYYY easier to make.
You gotta have bubble bags for hash making and they are expensive.
Or you could use the gumby method but that takes a long ass time, hash oil youll be done in about 3 hours with tops and be ready to smoke. Time would be closer to an hour and a half though i believe for ya frist time making it, I do mine and have it done in 15 minutes.

You gotta use butane to do it but when your done your left with some yellow oil that looks similar to a goopy honey you can put it on a screen and smoke it or put it on some bud and get super fucked up. It takes all the thc from those crystalls off and then evaporates the butane away so you can smoke the crystas
Let me know if ya need the method for the easy way to do it....

there is a thread on here called hash made easy. you should totally take a look at that. i'm considering doing it that way cause it looks really simple. but i do thank you for that. i'm gonna try to get my camera tomorrow so hopefully there will be pictures.

@mountainstar---where do u get bubble bags? any links? whats your method of making hash? I saw the gumby method on a youtube vid. but thats about it

ur best bet would be to just bring it inside every night at the same time and back out in the am at the same time....good luck brotha

thats seived hash, works good but you still gotta have a screen.
I use the gumby method when I do have enough trim to fuck with making hash...

I usually just make hash/honey oil though.

I NEVER go back to read the whole thread either. lol I usually go back a couple pages to see what everyone else has suggested though.

How is she doing though coadus? I know that you said you would try to get some pics (which is cool). How big is the gal compared to the trash can now, and did you ever tie her down?

well she is definatly bigger then my can now. but i'm using some 2x4's for the extra room which seems to help quite a bit. overall everything is looking really really good. I'm starting to worry a little about neighbors but otherwise everything is looking up. buds are coming along very nicely. hopefully i can use my laptop once my wife gets home so i can upload those pictures. be easy

sounds good to me. Make sure there is no light leakin gin to the top of the plant from the bottom though. Light leaks cause hermies.....

maybe get another garbage can, cut the bottoms out of each of 'em and connect them bottom to bottom so you have more room for it? if its that much of a worry? I just don't want to see all this hard work go to waste and you have to wait till late september or october for your harvest when it could be much sooner lol. Try to find something else to cover it with if you can.

You can move it if you are careful to take a big clump of dirt so the roots don't get cut. Yea you can force it I do itall the time except mine are a lot bigger so its harder to cover a 10 foot plant. :)
