The buds that are drying seemed about ready to go this morning.

When I get home I will further manicure them down and begin curing them in mason jars.

I will also get a number on the weight.

Okay so I was hoping for a zip outta this plant and it came up short.

I grabbed the wrong scale, no grams, and this weighed out at .5 oz.

I also 'sampled' about 3 blunts from it before, so I'm guessing about 3/4 of a zip, maybe 20-22 grams total.

Not too bad for the first go around. The plant that will be harvested 2 weeks from this past saturday was topped and has 3 main colas that are all very full and doing well. I hope that one will produce some weight!

The roots were making u turns to the top, would be the best description.

I believe a by-product of watering this way is a stronger plant, more secure in the soil and better able to uptake the nutes.

Skunk is 'The Guy' but I personally believe that I'd rather have tons of little, little root hairs rather than a monster root.

*This is my opinion and I could be wrong :)

Thanks guys and gals I appreciate it! I honestly hadn't necessarily considered that it was indeed successful, thank you much for pointing that out.

I smoked the blunts, which I dried in the food dehydrater, and it was a quick head high that came quick and was gone in about 20 minutes. I stripped this one down to it's branches and hung them in the dark for about 2.5 days and then trimmed them off the stems, weighed them and put them into an airtight container, shit, I need to go open that thing once a day!!

okay, I'm back. They smell really really good! I am going to 'cure' these for a couple of weeks and hope for the best.

Meanwhile back in the flowering room, the next plant WILL yield an ounce, I'm sure of it! It has a nice fat top cola and it has filled in nicely underneath. It also has the benefit of an extra week under the HPS. The one after that, which I topped and has 2 big colas and another 1 decent sized one, which will be harvested the following weekend, will yield pretty well too.

I have to say I believe in the molasses, the buds continue to 'swell' but are still kinda light and fluffy.

Well I took the first step and now I will be smoking!

Thanks for following this little adventure and helping out. The first fat blunt I smoke will be dedicated to all of you RIU potheads......err I mean Farmers!

YGF, we will see as each plant that is in the rotation is being watered this way including the lovely satoris, which are taking off pretty quick, have to keep lifting the light.

Like I said the roots were making a u-turn back to the top and I believe that will be more pronounced in every plant until I get to the satori, which I may transplant this weekend, which should be the opposite with a strong root to the bottom, no 'snake' and the soil completely saturated in the little root hairs.

Thanks again for everything.

As requested Robbie, here are the pics of the next plants almost ready for harvest.

They are in reverse order, the last pic is the one I will harvest this weekend.

Looking at the other two I believe I will harvest them both the following weekend, they look good and full.

Thanks for stopping by everyone, I appreciate it.

Funny Guy,

I use Fox Farm products almost exclusively. I use the Light Warrior soil for seedlings and clones, I use the Ocean Forest for the transplants, I use Grow Big, Big Bloom & Tiger Bloom all according to the feed charts on the FF website.

I also use some Thrive Alive B-1 on the clones and seedlings in addition to adding Micorrhizae (sp) to the transplants.

One product I'm dead set against is Wilt Proof, that shit is bad news, stear clear. Made my plants shrivel up into ram's horns.

And that's really it, I do use the black strap molasses for the one week before harvest.

*Prays santa will give RMH a belated Christmas gift.....a new camera*

Lol....that plant has some crazy potential. Im no pro but When plants got a but droopy and dark green like yours are getting a bit, it lead to severe under watering. Other than that things look great bro.

I know I know, YGF has been hasseling me from the get go about a camera. It will have to wait a minute, sorry guys.

It's actually not drooping I was giving a shot at 'fimming' I believe its called, or super cropping maybe? Where you bend and twist the tops? I wanted the lower buds to get some light as the tops looked nearly done, I thought about harvesting them but decided to bend them over instead. The younger plants I have done it to, at the same time, have already started bending back up to the light but the older ones, no go. I guess it may have been too late in the game for that?

Anyway, thanks again man and I AM working on getting a decent digital camera!
