LOL You cant taste the difference between hydroponically grown weed and weed that was brought up in soil??

The difference to me, is NIGHT and DAY. I will be able to tell the difference 95% of the time, or more.

I know about 3 hydro growers (personally) and two soil growers (excluding myself).

But then again, this is just my opinion, and it has nothing to do with the flush but more-so the "yum yum" taste. Shit, Hydro even smells different to me. Just my personal experience.

That shit's in your head man. Or your friends aren't doing some shit right. There's nothing biologically about the plant that would make it any different. You're talking voodoo science here. We're not making the plant "taste" different. Especially taste when burned...c'mon.

I wouldn't say it if I couldn't tell a difference. I have no reason to lie lol. Why do you think outdoor pot tastes so damn good?

there are numerous biological factors involved between the plant, the media and nutes used etc. that make HUGE differences in taste etc.

unless all three of your friends use the same strains and same nutes and fully flush, there will be a difference in taste


if its not the same strain or nutes let alone grower its impossible to say what the reson is that one taste is better,

Got to watch this for sure. What is the size of the space? Next grow I using a 1000 plus a 400 on the side. I have a L shaped space so I'll use the 400 the smaller side. The larger side is 4x4. Hoping to get 30 plants in as well. Good luck!

lol the plant pictured is experiencing no problems. Some of the others are so dry its ridiculous. Really sad.

r u talkin about the curlin leafs or...? im not too good with diagnosin deficiances tho so ya lol

from all the post and videos i have watched.... when leaves got that curling and yellowing from outer part of leaves working in it was a nitrogen deficiency! u might want to check that out and see if its plausable...i hope i helped...other than that this is a fantastic grow and keep it up! im looking forward to your harvest!

I am running into a little Nitrogen deficiency but I got some bigger issues such as CAL/MAG or lockout.

Thats ok though. THey're looking ok and dont seem to begetting to much worse. I've been feeding with CAL/MAG lately and that seems to be pretty helpful.

Is it it lock out? I am not going to even attempt to diagnose, but hope you figure it out and share your cure. The buds look great and the other ladies look awesome!

I would say keep hitting them with the cal-mag, they look hungry for it

You may have already stated this, but what's the ph of your runoff on the WORST of the plants? What's the ph of the runoff on the best of your plants?

Gotta find the difference between the worst and the best if these were all grown from clones of the same mother. Something is different.

Nutrient lockout happens when your plant can not access specific, or all nutrients in the growing medium, this is due to a chemical reaction within the medium/solution which prevents nutrients from being absorbed by the roots.

Aged nutrients can precipitate in the bottle, causing some of the ingredients to become solids or even evaporate, the same problem may also occur in the growing medium.

Lockout will display the same symptoms as nutrient deficiency; to help control this problem dispose of old liquid feed containers as you would old medicine and use fresh nutrients from a bottle that has been recently opened.

The following points can also be responsible for nutrient lockout.
PH is incorrect or fluctuates.

Single pack hydroponic solutions.

Salt build up.

A chemical reaction between 2 or more nutrient
solutions that are mixed together.

For acute deficiency symptoms caused by toxicity and nutrient lockout a first Aid program should be immediately administered.


Step 1)
Leach the plants roots and growing medium using a professional leaching agent to thoroughly leach away metals, calcium, sodium, chlorides, sulphates and many other compounds, which can build up in the growing media.

Step 2)
Feed with 1/4 strength high quality complete plant food mix along with a high quality vitamin B-1 product such as Superthrive (1 drop per gallon).

Step 3)
Spray a professional stay green formula on the leaves. After 24hrs, spray the leaves with a quality vitamin B-1 product.
Feed at 25% of recommended fertilizer dosage until first signs of growth.
