what do ya know, japanfreak trying to cause trouble in yet another thread..
It's what you don't know and not what you think you know that's important. The OP has stirred shit at several pot sites and been banned for the same the thread. He has never once offered any real advice and I honestly think it's a danger for him to give advice because some kids might think he actually knows something with his 2 years of experience.

Nor did I. I actually caught a lot of shit from people at the other site by saying he had a right to be there. Doesn't mean that I think he should be presenting himself to answer questions from an ex-cop at a pot board. Not when the best he can do is wiki and tell stories.

Actually, unless it just happened, I haven't been banned or even got an infraction. They just deleted the thread. If they ban me, oh well. I don't see that I ever caused any problems.

As for advice, I'm simply offering the information I have and have been VERY clear about the fact that it will not always be up-to-date. I have also made it clear about the amount of time I was on the force. I guess maybe I should have posted a legal disclaimer? Funny, you don't have to take any "advice" offered but to say that no info has been presented or questions answered, well....

The reason I would want to talk to a 2 year cop is the same reason I would want to talk to a 2 year banker. Granted, they weren't "in" for long but the cop is going to know a helluva lot more in his two years then you gain from watching COPS. I'd want to talk to a banker because we all know that $10k in cash is the "magic number" but how many of you know what a "SAR" is or the circumstances that would trigger one? Or even that banks don't go just by the $10,000 marker and that some trigger certain things as low as $3,500.

Sure, I'd love to pick the brain of a 20 year law enforcement veteran but I'll be damn glad for any info I get that keeps my ass out of trouble.

You'd think, he hasn't come up with the good though

By the way, I for one don't give a fuck if you're a cop.snitch. or whatever but I do think you're a colossal loser for even making a poll like that.

reputation is given when someone posts something useful to another member. it can be taken, but only by a few. consider yourself "honored".

Great thread!

Ok here's my question. I read majority of this thread so if this was asked and I missed it then I appologize.

SO check it out, Say I grow hypothetically in a rented spot. Now then, all of my grow junk is away from any breaker boxes, water heater, etc etc. I have a closet and a grow tent, both with padlocks on them. The door to the bedroom is also locked at all times. So this is multiple locks someone would have to go through to get to my secret nirvana.

So say my landlord (he wouldn't do this) but say he let maintenance in my home to check the breaker box hypothetically, and the landlord, being in my place with no forewarning or permission, saw the locks and took it upon himself to go into my private belongings, cutting locks along the way. Say he were to be like, WTF! and call the cops to my home while I'm away. What do you believe the outcome of this would be? Would you go back and grab a warrant real quick after seeing my place even though it was illegally entered by my landlord. Do you believe I could get an attorney to throw it out because of this? I know your no lawyer but say as a field cop in that situation.

Your opinions?

I would call my shift supervisor and make him make the call. If the maintenance man was let in in an "emergency situation", then the entry is legal and anything he sees can be held against you. Unless stated in the lease I wouldn't think he would have the right to go into any place that was not his reason for being there. If it were MY decision, I would probably not arrest you, but confiscate any contraband I found. I am pretty sure that if you were arrested it won't stick, so I would just take what I could. I would DEFINITELY think you would have a nice lawsuit against your landlord though.

It doesn't matter what the landlord does, the guy would still be fucked because the cops would walk over and see the grow. Doesn't matter if the landlord committed a crime by breaking into his place. There are cases of thieves breaking into people's homes and calling cops to snitch on them. Unless the cops told the landlord to break the law it would stick and he would be fucked.

But he could prolly sue the landlord to replace the locks.

You know, I want to be cool with the police. If I see a piece of shit mug an old lady, I think he should be behind bars. I hope police realize that they are hugely missing out by going after people that like to smoke a joint every now and then. Its unfortunate because it seems like they serve only to generate revenue and protect the biggest criminals. The police in the United States have actually become "enforcers" for the globalist banking cartel. They will slap the cuffs on anyone caught with so much as anything which can be identified as cannabis. At the same time, those fucks from Goldman Sacks, Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, the cops will drop to their knees and suck their dicks, AND SWALLOW. Bottom line, either the cops are there to keep the peace and help the community, or they are there to enforce the laws and edicts of our rules. If they are there to truly help the community, then they will have my full unconditional support and assistance. If they only serve to enforce any edict or ruler's law, AGAINST the will of the people, then they should all be destroyed, period.
