The older n larger they get the tougher the meat is..I'd want a medium size batch..

hard or soft shell 1 1/2 to 2lbs are my pick soft will be more meaty than hard but i think hard taste better

I didn't even know lobsters were soft shell.. The ones I buy I get @ mejers and they are frozen..I thaw in fridge overnight n cook in some butter.

I use a scissors to cut a couple slits in shell before cooking so shell peels off kinda easy after cooking in a pan.

Really? I don't think I ever had a bad lobster. Had an undercooked frozen one once at a restaurant. Read them the riot act for fucking up good food.

Agreed..I've never had a bad lobster either...but I'm repeating what I've been told by people who cook em..
