I have always considered the risk of increasing the number of plants in my room, and I have never even been close to reaching my max limit, but I have also learned that as long as you keep everything in your room professional, keep it between you and your significant other (treat it like a second life in a way), then the likelihood of anyone asking questions is so low, I cant even put a % for chance on it...

Awesome room man. I'm a RI caregiver as well. I can't PM yet for lack of posts, but I'd love to get some clones as well once you're able to do so. I have an electrician coming to my place Sunday. Then I should be able to get both rooms going. I have five clones that are ready to go flower. They've been in veg for a few weeks and are pushing 20". I just don't want to flower until I get two rooms. Then I plan on taking some clones from them to hopefully achieve a perpetual (of some sorts at least). I'm a ways away from that point though. To make time for the electrician I've topped all but one and have super cropped three. I'm not sure if I'll continue to super crop in the future. Do you use any of these techniques or FIM or LST? Anyways, sweet grow.

I actually use both fim and lst. I fim during veg when they are around 2 weeks in, and if you look closer to some of my plants, instead of having them grow up, I tie them down sideways to their own bucket. It works well in exposing much more light to lower nodes, similar to scrog. I'll post some pics once I have colas to show you a better example of what it does. Also, are both of these rooms you mention flowering? Or is it one veg and one flowering. And what are your lights?

Day 24, and the pistil show begins. All look very green, and pistils are long and hard. LSD has always been my pistil beauty, because of her early pistil development. Veg room was off, but I will post more pics of it later. Plants in veg are getting to a great size, and they will be floweirng in 6 days.

I will post pictures of them one by one tmr... i may start a thread in the ri section soon about trading clones... everyone is so uptight with their strands its crazy. I know people who claim to have paid 3k for one clone an refuses to give it up. I have la confidential/headband/cotton candy/big bud (soon they seeds now). It would be cool to get some variety and be able to share strands if someone wanted.

I love variety as well, and althought I don't know anyone that is that attached to their clones like that, I know people that are attached to their strains dearly. Jack Herrer is that strain for me. I started it a little over a year ago from a single seed, and it turned out to be the best plant I have had all year long. I don't see myself ever giving it up as well, but I didn't pay 3k for it lol.

Day 32 of Flowering

Everyone looking very happy. Nothing to report as of yet. The new row of plants are 4 days into flowering, and are 5 Papayas, 1 (large one) Sky Walker, 2 Train Wrecks, and 2 Blue Cheese. Up next in veg are several Sour Diesel, Jack Herrer, Sky Walker and Train Wreck. The Pics

Just noticed you have a grow too. You like the bubble buckets? Hate soil?? Try coco, you get the results of hydro with the stability of soil, it is also very light weight. Once my five gallon bucket dries out (two days after watering) I can lift the whole bucket easily. I am doing a side by side with a bubble bucket and some coco plants, cloned from same plant same brand nutes (canna coco and canna aqua) the canna line is awesome, the coco line uses 1 single type of nutrients for flower and veg. I just change some of the additives once I go into flower. I don't have a ph meter so the bubble buckets always give me problems, from ph drops. Oh the side by side..... The bubble bucket had explosive growth off the line, it grew very fast, the coco caught up and passed the bucket after about two weeks.

As much as I like coco, I don't want to deal with the mess of using and storing it. Also disposing it is another issue. I live in the city and to do all that is too much work. With hydro, water enters and exits my grow very easily, without any issue. Controlling the pH is also an easy task with a pH meter. After using my blue lab monitor for so long, I practically memorized the pattern of pH drifts. But to each his own medium!

That is a clean room. I'd go mad having to do rez changes in all those buckets though.

Cool. I love hydro results, the ph just gives me headaches. How often do you do res changes? Do you top with nutes? What does your ph drift normally look like? Like .1 per day drop or more? Do you use the blue ph up or a buffer or baking soda? Lol lots of questions, I know, but I have wanted to ask them of someone who uses the bubble buckets for some time now.

I change their res every 2 - 2 1/2 weeks. Each change, it starts with 5.6pH, and every day it goes up between .2-.5, depending on how much they drink. After they drink a noticeable amount, I top the buckets with 4.5 pH water to bring them back to 5.5-5.6. Once they drink again, I top them off with pH'd nutes again. Aside from this cycle, I will alternate one or two components of my feeding schedule according to what the plants are asking for, but deficiencies also come in patterns. For instance, the first two weeks of flowering, if you don't feed them cal-mag, you will see the appear by week 3. If you dont feed them a pK boost between week 5-6, you will see appear by week 7, and etc etc.

That perfectly explains the issues I had as well. The problems are so pronounced so quickly with hydro. You see spots appear one day and the next, boom, the whole plant is effected. I wish I wasn't so lazy, lol I would mix up some of sub cools super soil and just add water. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if I had a ph meter. I use the gh test kit, but it's pretty much a guess, it at least gets you close to the range.

Nice grow very Pro... +rep Im going to start my indoor next month 70 clones already vegging with your same light setup with the movers.. but i was going to use FF soil.. but i really want to experiment with the buckets im going to do some reading up on them is it as easy as they say they are to run??

Very simple and straight forward to use, but not every grower should be using it. It doesn't reflect any particular skill, or the lacking of it. I always like to say, every grower has their own medium, and hydro is no difference.

im just tired of watering 60+ plants by hand I think im going to get a small bucket system maybe around 6 buckets and start experimenting...

That's funny. I haven't gotten on here in a while, but I recently tied them all up. I drilled holes along the pots, used soft plant ties and string. Some I have tied down more than others. I wish I would have started doing this a while ago. I have one 6.5' X 6.5' X 6.5' tent for flowering with a 1,000 watt mh (I'm using it for veg, as I have nothing established behind it yet). I hope to setup a small 2' X 4' x 4' tent for clone/ veg. I hope to set that up and take clones tomorrow. I have a 16 site clone machine, but I haven't used it yet. I'm real excited to try it all.

I won't flip my lights until late October. Some family is coming and I can maintain smell now, but they'll know something is up if they were in flower. Also, I have to use a calendar to figure out when I'll flip them, I have a lot of traveling in December/ January and want to be around for trimming, drying, curing, etc.

I started a journal, the link is in my signature. For the clone/ veg I am using a 125 watt cfl hydrofarm light I have. I hope to upgrade at some point and make that tent solely veg with a 400 or 600 watt mh.
