DAY 52 (DAY 16 OF FLOWER)

Still no signs of sex. What poopy slow-growing plants. My water cured bud should be completely dry tomorrow (woohoo).

I'm sure know this already, but are you sure your flower room is 100% light sealed when lights are out?

Sucks they are taking so long. I'm getting impatient, so can imagine how you are feeling!
 
Yes, It's light proof. I'm pretty sure its just cause they're so far from my light source. They have been growing a little slow. I only have a 150w hps and i had to move it up cuz of my big girl. Which is almost touching it now. I added the 4 100w cfls to try and help them out. It seems to be helping a little.
 
What are the benefits of having light at the middle of the plant like that?

I'm guessing that they stimulate growth towards the middle of the plant...does it have a great effect? Maybe I should try adding some at a lower level like that for bushiness...

It's not actually meant to be at the middle of my big plant but for the other 2 small ones which are too far away from my 150w hps, so i added them there to try and help those two out.
 
And I just found out I have 1 girl already in my batch of 5... you're making me feel bad.

But the 400w HPS will be here tomorrow...

Haha, it'd be shitty if I couldnt afford rent and my landlord came to evict me. I would be fucked! I'd get evicted and catch a case. Maybe he would extort me for it and tell me I could stay so long as he gets my entire grow when its complete.

Naw man, the big one is a female. She's got like 7 colas on her so im real excited, shes starting to flower nicely. Im still waiting on the two smaller ones. I checked this morning and one has some preflowers starting to form but i cant quite make it out yet. Probably tomorrow i can tell on one of them.

She was topped. A few days after I topped her all her othre shoots were at the top of the plant competing for light. I'm going to top a couple plants on my next grow, depending on how nice these buds turn out on her. Looks good so far!
 
We got one in flowering that was topped once, and just put another one into flowering yesterday that was topped...and then one of the two new shoots got successfully topped.....so it's like one side is two shoots, and the other in one big bushy one. Strangest thing.
