Here's the background: 4 plants each 1 week into flowering (after 6 weeks of vegging), I discover 2 of them are males. I pull the plants, trim them into a pile of leaves and cut up stem, discard the soil and roots.
I dried the male leaves in a small toaster oven on a stoneware plate at the 150° setting (actual temps in there were closer to 120° according to my infrared thermometer) for about 45 mins. After this, the leaves were super crispy and dry. I crushed them into a fine powder and removed the stems. The resulting powder looked like very dark green bud. Also to note, pretty sure I had an allergic reaction to the leaves... seemed to be almost like a weak version of poison ivy on my arms.
Alas, I packed a bowl and lit up. It was not a harsh smoke, but the flavor did have a chlorophyll hint to it. Overall not bad taste, very tolerable. After 2 bowls I noticed my heart rate was much faster and my muscles seemed relaxed. I still felt sober as a judge in my head, but there seemed to be a very real body high at work.
I have a lot more of this plant matter left, and I definitely plan to do more R&D. I'll let you know how it goes!
