Anything faster than the traditional 6-10 day hang dry is going to taste shitty, so if you just wanna sample the high, go ahead. If you're actually trying to sample the taste, there is no faster way.

Back in the day when I couldn't wait anymore I bought a cheap food dehydrator for $15 - $20 at Big Lots and put a bud on this. It gets bone-dry in about 4-5 hours. Then if you put that bud in a jar with 1 full-size leaf it'll be spongy again in about another half a day. So there's a less than 24 hour dry for ya, even though it'll still taste like chlorophyll pretty bad.

I'd let that plant go for another week or so. Is that FOG?

I put a first-pull bud in the exhaust side of my puter fan....got pretty dry overnight and tasted very good...aaaannnnddd it was great weed....(lowryder).

I don't know why so many people had their panties in a bunch over a test nug, if he decides to test the plant, more power to him.

I personally do a full dry and cure on a test nug towards the end of my grows so that I can gauge my harvest time on potency, taste, and high....not what the tric's look like....

If you want a quick bud 20 -45 minutes, go the CFL quick dry route (but it will NOT be an accurate representation of your bud)

I suggest you take a lil nug, and dry and cure like you normally would, since it is only a small nug it doesn't take to long, and the test bud is much closer to what your finished product will be, but you have to be willing to wait a few days to smoke it.
