I need to bother , i must change from 250hps to Leds , the problem is that the leds emit 1200ppfd at 40cm , and i only have 25cm , to much ppfd can fuck photosint. if i know right ?
Dim the LED or Add CO2. Or use a diffuser lense/layer between the light and the plants.

Which light? Download any light app. Measure the PAR readings using the app on your HPS. Then you can at least compare values of HPS and LED. If you have a base number, even if it's not 100% accurate you still have a good number to compare the LED to.

It's going to depend on the smartphone. They all use different sensors to measure light.

The Korona app with a paper diffuser gives almost the same values as my Dr Meter Lux Meter. Where I measure 36200 on my lux meter korona said 35000, where the lux meter says 42000 korona said 41000.

The apps are pretty helpful when switching between lights, t5s to led/hid etc. Even if not totally accurate, you can get a ballpark figure of lux at your canopy with one light, then know if you need to raise or lower the new light. They don't need to be accurate, just consistent to be useful in certain instances, or for newbies.
