Indeed.Far more efficient to write a relatively general and lightweight web server once and then just customise it to your required spec for each job.
What you say is true, but is very rarely the case

I'll be specific. Im architecting and writing Node.js micro-services paired with Java and Python services I've written for natural language processing, compiling "big data" sized metadata. Using elasticsearch to index and search records across millions of records.
And the shitty part about it? I'm not getting paid for it...............(ellipsis).............. yet.
