If it’s just nitrogen they’re short on its not that big of an issue. Nitrogen is the most quickly utilized element and the most quickly depleted. In flower I’d rather supplement nitrogen as needed instead of burning them.
 
Personally I feel like most bloom nutes cut to much N to fast. A lot of people over fed those plants in veg and starve them in flower. I prefer to keep nutrient ratios similar throughout the grow with the exception of K to N ratio in flower. While just reducing the overall feed late in flower while still supplying enough to avoid deficiencies.

Everyone has their own particular schemes for getting the best out of what they got. We all try different things over the years and tend to settle on what works well. It's fun to experiment with different feeds, lights etc to see what happens.

We were all beginners at one time and fumbling around trying to figure out which of the hundreds of schemes was going to work best for us.

Reading lots helps but nothing beats practice and experience.

I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS . I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as many are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.

Just about any water soluble plant food will work. Dyna Gro Foliage Pro is decently priced. I've used from beginning to end with great results. Now I am using Jack's Classic from beginning to end with even better results. I find that I get too many lockouts and deficiencies when I use Bloom nutrients in flower. Then I end up having to supplement more calcium or magnesium. I found its better if I just use a complete plant food. I get better results. Good luck.:weed:

i have a question about megacrop . i just started using it
and so far it works great. at first the weather was wet [growing outdoor]
and didn't have to water much. so only fertilizing maybe twice a week.
now the weather has changed to hot and dry and i have to water at least every 2 days.
my question is should i still give the same amount of nutes every time . this way they would be
getting twice what they were getting.i don't want to overfeed.

If you’re in soil then you could feed every other watering, I’ve never grown in soil But I’ve read some people water with Nutes every time just fine with good runoff. If in coco then I would water with Nutes every time.

I was feeding every watering at 1g/L along with other goodies but started seeing sme ip burn especially with the Sebring's Revenge plants that are hempish and don't seem to need as much as the ISSxBB or kush plants. The tips along he edges of those leaves are a little brown on their tips too.

Everybody got water only for one cycle and now I've just fed again at 0.5g/L for the Sebrings and a full g/L for the rest. 31 days into 12/12. Even the kush have burnt tips and all plants but the Sebs are very dark green so I'll be backing off a bunch for now on. They are also getting Big Bud, CalMag, Carbo and MSM which is an organic sulfur you can get at health food stores. I bought a pound of it a few years back for myself but trying it on the plants.

It's supposed to be better to maintain the EC in the root zone so using half your usual dose every time you water is better than a full dose every 2nd watering tho with changing conditions and higher water usage then going down to 1/3 or even 1/4 a full dose every watering could be the ticket to not overfeeding them.

That works the same no matter what brand of nutes you use tho.

Ive been killing it with 3 home depot products. Fish emulsion, ultra bloom 0-10-10, and sea weed extract.

Super cheap and effective. Gallon bottles go a very long way.

A friend of mine uses nothing but Alaska Fish Fertilizer and Alaska Morbloom and kills it. The fish is 5-1-1 and the Morbloom is 0-10-10.

Yeah thats all Im using on some of my grows. Plus the seaweed.

Cannabis specific nutes are hype/overpriced.

I do like dynagrow stuff sometimes but it too is $$$

I've been using it on some plants I have growing outdoors in pots of soil. They look great. For my indoor growing in coco I just use calcium nitrate, a micronutrient blend, and monopotassium phosphate repackaged as a three part nutrient called VitaGrow. It's very inexpensive and I can use it on all my other plants. Houseplants, flowers, vegetables, orchids, etc... It's easy to adjust the NPK.

And yes, cannabis specific nutes are nothing more than a money grab.
