I've got to say, if I ever had an OG question, kgp is the man to see.
One thing I notice between the beautiful cuts kgp has posted is the leaves. They really remind me of the leaves on PCK that I grew, and need to grow again. Makes me wonder if it shares some genetic make up.
Some pictures in my ace thread for comparison but the wide leaves and the three blades are reminiscent of PCK. Wish the fucking cat would have left them slow ass plants alone.

I got one of those RP freebies too that was plain OG and it was straight OG just as you describe. Have you ever bought a full pack of there OG to see if you could find similar phenos?

last time i checked(bout year ago) they were out of stock but i just peeked and in stock. i only ran a freebie but id def run 2 packs to see what i can find. not too many people talk about running the og, mostly about the 18/ the hgk/ or the kosher. i have read a few reports of people not finding shit in those freebies but i know what i found and i only ran her twice but def close to keeper status.

I personally liked RP offerings, with a few caveats.
First off, I've grown OGK, HGK (DNA, I know), Kosher and OG18. Probably anywhere from 4 to 6 of each. Not a huge selection but still an experience/observation. When I grew these plants, I grew others as well, and while this was when I was new to growing cannabis, I had success and failures. I'm sure if I gave them another shot I'd do better, but my expectations would remain the same.
All of their offerings are very slow, finicky, poor structure and low yield. I'm sure the finicky part would be less so now that I have more experience, but damn did I feel like I was always reactive with these plants. I hate being reactive. I like and enjoy being proactive and not constantly feeling like I'm playing detective with my plants. I'm pretty good at spotting and identifying deficiencies, but I don't want any in the first place.
When it came to the finish product, the best plants consistently was OG18. Had an OG funk to it slightly lemon and almost all of the ones I grew were very potent. Yields on all the above were below desired, but I guess with OG genetics that is expected.
HGK was the worst of them. Just such a pain in the ass. Kosher was a disappointment as I believe I've smoked the cut and it was straight up amazing. If it wasn't the cut, who ever selected and kept that plant around was doing people a favor. OG was more or less good and potent, but the OG18 was almost always excellent. Not necessarily the best representation I've tried but it was pretty close. I think if someone never had verified smoke, it could pass or at least set the bar for what OG should be.
I have a handful of OG fems from seedsman I may pop for shits and giggles. Just have enough gear running at this point I'd probably just try and source a cut at this point

i figured i got lucky on my freebie but if booms got one like i described, then theres gotta be other happy customers. usually only the bad results get splattered on the net, not often people brag about good results. i smoke all day everyday for 22 years now and when i say 2 hitter with no tolerance build up it was just that.... so dreamy. i can almost taste it now...

The gear wasn't heavily intersexed (HGK being am exception but I'm not ruling me fucking a couple up out), and over all good to excellent. May not have been a cut but if someone didn't mind a pain in the ass plant, wouldn't be disappointed by the end product
