@kgp have you ever run either the jew's gold cut or DNA's kosher kush? I am running the kosher regs right now, and while all are some promising plants, there are a couple real standouts. All three that I've finished have had pure lemon pinesol funk, and they all smell roughly similar, but one lanky golf ball lady in particular is a real standout in terms of resin profile. The ones that I have finished have also all had great long lasting highs as well, not a lot of pot can keep me high for two hours off one bong bowl. As could be expected, she is one of the two lowest yielding girls (the other being a short tight girl but covered tip to tail in chunky buds with the resin taco leaves).

over the years doc gt's og has been in side by side test grows over the web and always came out in the top few…it is seriously for real

Hey kgp not sure if i missed it somewhere but have you ever ran DrGt ghost og vs the actual cut of ghost?
On the RP Og, the freebie i ran which i didnt clone because of reading less then stellar reports, dumbass move. Id say she was very close to the SFV clone that ive tried.

I was under the impression they are completely different, I hate this shit of having everyone name their stuff after others hard work. I am not really worried about that as much as it makes it so damn confusing for us to figure out what is what. I am a hunter of the dank, I don't want to try the same strain a million times only with a different name. I want to hit a bowl of something I have yet to taste, smell, or experience.
One nice big bong rip in the morning got me stoned!

Docs og was fire, leeroy, 501, Scott's, and rugburn were all better than average but low yields.

ive ran docs Iranian g13 and it was piss poor.
I've never tied any other gear of his. His ghost is a s1 self pollination of supposedly the same cut that I have. Although I don't see any grows that look like the actual cut but s1's can produce good plants.

docs is a s1, and I'm glad he calls it that. Instead of doctor greenthumbs og or something. If you self a clone, you should call it just that, exactly what it is.

I see that many s1's don't equal the mother in all categories.
Og crosses don't do justice either. Up the yeild, lower the quality.
Or introduce something new in an og cross and it changes everything about it.
Stay tuned and I'll show you what she can do. You won't get donkey dicks but I will get her to yield bigger golf ball size nugs on a tooth pick size stem. Trained right, and topped many times early on will get you many tops and the potential of a medium yield with top notch buds. It's amazing how much she packs on the weight the last two weeks in flower.

I can tell you that they don't come from the same mom. The dudes from RP didn't come into the elemental picture until the past three years. They had their og's released before they started making elementals wax and then they turned into the breeders of elementals gear. The True OG cut came from so cal about 15 years ago and they have kept it ever since.
I don't mind when someone names something exactly what it came from, but when one is making their own crosses they should stray away from using other breeders names. Also like you stated when someone crosses an OG with another non-related strain to breed other qualities into it then it isn't an OG anymore it is an OG cross. I didn't realize doc got it from the ghost cut because I heard of the seed form before I heard of the clone.
A good example is Loud seeds headband as opposed to others headband. A lot of people use that name for an OG x Sour Diesel when it is really just an imitation not the real parents of headband. Loud seeds states that the original headband comes from Chem 91 x Mass Super Skunk x Sensi Seed Northern Lights.
I like how they are trying to clear up misconceptions and even give credit to Sensi Seeds for using their Northern Lights. That is a standup company right there.

Ghost isn't a strain.
Orgnkid from overgrow dot com handed the cut of og kush to ghost also from overgrow. That's how it got coined "ghost" cut

the iran x og made stellar powerful plants outdoors up north here that actually finished late sept ..one of the pheno's was freaky good

What about Bodhi ancient og?? Supposed to be close and just popped some beans of it...Also kandy kush is a real winner with a great high that people love!! Yields are hit or miss depending on pheno..

I'm sure bodhi is good but it's not og. I ran his golden triangle, lotus Larry which were good but not og. Anything with train wreck isn't going to be og either.

Couple but the male he uses is green crack dominant for sure. You will get mango in that cross.
Don't get me wrong, I got a couple plants that had 15" solid colas. Big donkey dicks and it was very potent.
