Real Life Ghosts. Proof.

What is a "moral", and is there any more evidence for one than for the ghosts that were the original topic? cn
Morality (from the Latin moralitas "manner, character, proper behavior") is the differentiation of intentions, decisions, and actions between those that are good (or right) and those that are bad (or wrong). A moral code is a system of morality (according to a particular philosophy, religion, culture, etc.) and a moral is any one practice or teaching within a moral code. The adjective moral is synonymous with "good" or "right." Immorality is the active opposition to morality (i.e. good or right), while amorality is variously defined as an unawareness of, indifference toward, or disbelief in any set of moral standards or principles.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][3][/SUP][SUP][4][/SUP] An example of a moral code is the Golden Rule which states that, "One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself."[SUP][5][/SUP]

Not to point. What is a moral? How does one detect and measure its presence, shape, extent? "Morality" is a general term, and whenever I see the word "morals" that is never what's really being discussed.
We're talking biology here, and you've held up "morals" as a distinguishing feature. Who first determined this feature, and how? Does any of the literature survive? cn

Read the definition. Humans have morals, or a sense of morality, which requires the ability to differentiate actions, intentions, and decisions based on right and wrong. No animals other than humans are capable of that feat.

How do we know this? I suspect that many of the higher creatures - whales, apes, some dogs, cuttlefish even ... have a combination of problem-solving skills, abstract capacity, memory and opinion to qualify for understanding, and acting on, right and wrong. I greatly doubt it's a human monopoly.

Regardless, "a sense of morality" is a philosophical concept, but "morals" is not. It's a codeword used by dominionists and related psychoterrorists for justifying an awful ideology. You preach, and yet you squirm to deny it. Interestingly, the NT warns that just those are the lukewarm sort who'll be spat out. cn

Faith is what u make of it, i'm raise as a catholic, private school and all. In my late teens i got horrible eczema on my feet buttoms and and elbows, cracking and bleeding, nothing doctors gave me helped :( Finaly a saw a friends grand mother who was known as a local "healer". She rubbed my feet and elbows and said to stop all medication and to never thank her, only have faith in her. So i did and to this day my elbows and feet are as smoot as a new boors wet ass ;)
Pics please.

Im sorry, but your rebuttals are like a ferris wheel, no matter what anybody says, it always comes full circle.
The wheel effect is merely the centrifugal force of you resisting logic. I am calm and unmoved at the center. You insist on staying out on the edge. cn

That is not a moral. That is a learned behavior.

You are so obviously religiously brainwashed. Yeah, i'm sure this warp in your mind has nothing to do with your views on gays.

The book of Genesis isnt some written story tho, its a direct account of specific events.
Then God said, "Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."
Well I think the reason that humans have dominion over all other creatures is because we have supreme intelligence and a conscious mind with morals, which comes from having a soul. Idk, pets might be in heaven with their owners.
There is definitely a spiritual world. Idk if it can be proved on Youtube tho. Any jackass can upload shit to there.

I dont think that animals have souls, therefore no ghosts, but that would be cool if dogs did. They are our best friends. Its always sad to lose a loyal companion.
I do believe that animals have souls. Almost a month to the day after I had to put my cat of 20 years down I found his paw prints on my dresser. They started on the night stand and continued onto the dresser and stopped there. I think as we learn more about animals I think that we'd be surprised what they know and how they love. We are their guardians.

It is a possibility, one of those things that will only be revealed upon death.

Yes, God gave us dominion over all. But we are very lucky to have opposable thumbs otherwise things might be different.
