Once again I believe this is going to be another epic grow. I've always wondered if you could do what you are planning to do, if it works out (which I don't see how it wouldn't work) then you'll be the first person I know to have re-revegged! Very exciting stuff here, I will be following closely. Already you have inspired to me to make some alterations for my cabinet grow. Just a question though, how long are you planning to reveg the plants until flower?

hEY FISHIN' Coming over from your rubber grow, this looks great, and i wish u good luck. I'm not to sure i agree with the dude above me entirely, about how to hang a light and losses and such. I've wathced a few grow vids and ppl have their light verticl sometimes, but they usually do it for better light dispersition on the plants they hang them like below the plants to ensure total light penetration. But looking at the size and the reflective mylar i doubt it will be an issue. Everythin looks bad ass man good luck

A light hung vertically and surrounded by plants, therefore not needing a reflector, is definitely far more efficient than a horizontal mount. As soon as you bring a reflector into the picture it changes things.

Semi-true. His plants shouldn't surround the light for a while , so until then, a horizontally mounted reflector is the best choice IMO. Or at least a vertical reflector

Ok so here is a little update for everyone.......

These plants have now been vegging for a month now, seems that this time took a lil longer to switch back into veg mode but now these things are very bushy and should start to get pretty big now.....

These were trimmed heavily and tied down again a few days ago and now its looking like plenty of tops are coming up so i cant wait to see how these end up....anyways here are the pics enjoy bongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie

I mount my lights horizontally with a batwing in a very similar cabinet setup. When I look at the light from the bottom (in indent at the bottom) it is no where near as bright as looking at it from the side. My hps blinds me from the side but is quite tolerable from the bottom (indent nipple dealie). Another thing I noticed is it was much more intense on my hand from the side appose to the bottom. Just my 2.

That main stem looks like some sort of mutant. Looking damn good man. How long does it take from re-veg to mature flower? I am having no luck with cloning and am thinking I might have to give re-veg a shot.

Non-autoflowering plants can be veg'd as many times as you like, dopewear. As a for-instance, since I don't have a Top44 vegging in my grow, I'll be re-vegging my main Top44 girl.. tiny as she is. Fairly straightforward procedure, from what I understand.. leave some of the bud matter at the bottom (it gets absorbed back into the plant) and clip back the root ball, then put it back into veg. cycle with some rooting hormone and Veg nutes. I read a huge post by an old hippie on another forum site that had a 20+ year old mother plant that he flowered once per year just to keep her happy. :)

at the beginning of your last post, i doubted. i admitted i was wrong, and i have come to terms with the fact that the goddess mother cannabis is capable of crazy things. i appreciate the continued progression of your plants.

as i sit here and imagine myself in your circumstances... i cannot help but think that, if i were to cultivate and care for the same mother plant through that many succesfull life and reproduction cycles, i would develop a deep closeness with that plant. even more than i love the clones and seeds the are produced from the loins of my precious ladies. i feel that the connection would become so strong with those select plants, i feel like if i ever ended up harvesting them completely and ending their life, it would be like losing a part of myself. my only option in the end would be planting it outside in a safe a nd secure location, and somehow lighting it at night throughout the fall and winter. in that way i could continue to cut clones while my tree grew ancient with me. happy until death. we would leave this world together.

I dunno.. I liked Steadmanclan's post. I'm betting he was high as balls when he typed it, though! :)

I have this feeling that you can begin to "mold your high" when you know a particular plant's gene sets for long enough, so I'm really in agreement. While I'm a new grower, I know enough growers to have smoked clones of one plant over spans of 5-10 years. It's really nice, to me. You always know what to expect from them.. you know whether or not you can drive or if you'll sleep better (or worse, like w/ some UP sativas) or if it'll help your stomach or help your experience in the sack, etc. To me, it's not a lot different than my grandmother using the same Aloe plant for 20 years to help heal cuts. I guess it's part of a cultural shift coming about in the way MJ is viewed. As I get older, I know fewer people who are out to "get wasted" by smoking pot. Getting "wasted" is boring, to me. Cannabis does so much more than get you "stoned".

i get laid a couple times a day. my wife is also a master of the oral arts. i get that every few days. she also gets plenty of mouth love from me. we both make love to the plants.

it totally ok if you believe marijuana is "just a plant"

not everyone can understand a life that is as slow and methodical as a plant, but they are in fact living beings. they have personalities all their own. they are far more intelligent than you understand.

mmmmm cannabis... i love you!!!
