Yep. Like I said in the text yesterday, if that fire was today it would have been ALLOT worse.
There was a fire in the opposite direction also but they got to it pretty quick.
I found a site that had the air boss transmissions to the tankers once, that was cool to listen to. He would describe the shape of the burn and where he wanted the tankers to drop at.
Edit. Flight radar 24 has a virtual cockpit view, it's kind of disorienting though.

They say shrooms are good for that.
I might not be able to shroom enough to get away from that shit but might as well keep trying.
Outside it smells like fire.
It’s all kind of just coming back again recently.
Just last week I tuned into a special on CNN called Violent Earth. S1 E2 “wildfire” And wouldn’t you know it they showed shitloads of footage from people trying to evacuate Pearson rd. And mentioned the people who died in their cars, down a road off of Pearson. I lived down two roads over and was stuck right at about the same distance from Pearson. I was like what the fuck am I watching this for.

I can't imagine going through that, I was texting with my niece when she was evacuating until the cell towers died. She headed up the ridge until she ran out of gas and someone picked her up and took her to her grandma's place in Stirling. She lost her trailer in Magalia.

A dude that used to post on here, lived up in lower Magalia and was able to evacuate up that way.
My brother, lost his house in Magalia. My niece grabbed the dog and evacuated down through paradise. The fire was already sweeping through Magalia. She ran out of gas and had to run to Kmart where she made it through the fire with shitloads of other people.
