cops wouldn't cut a branch but FD will to have a clear view of house numbers.
happened to me, sort of.
I got a knock from a Fire Marshal telling me that I had to # my home.
pHe was friendly about it.
I had removed the #'s to paint and not put them back.

Call you local FD station and ask?

does it go near any type of wire/cable.
everycompany will cut stuff to protect the cables/wires to your home.

somebody trimmed it to show the address. no biggie.



i'm a legal grower these days but last week there was a BOOM BOOM BOOM on my back door. it made me jump it was so loud.

i've heard that kind of knock before. it's either someone coming to kick my ass or cops.

turns out it was a probation officer with the wrong address.

it took about 10 minutes for my blood pressure to get back to normal.

it will take awhile before a loud knock doesn't make me go into fight or flight mode. :)

Yup. You're paranoid. No cop is going to remove a tree limb....for the most part they are too fat and out of shape to attempt it. Anything else would incriminate them. I grow right on my deck. Nobody is any the wiser as far as I know. And I have some vegging inside. I think they have bigger fish to fry.

I'm a self-employed computer tech that works from my home. I've been dealing with bud-stink for too long....for which I personally like the smell....but....

......I have a large customer list that includes our city's former deputy chief of police, the local town's police chief investigator, a deputy sheriff, and a retired city cop. They bring their computers to my home....yeah...the home with the bud smell.

Talk about paranoia. If I were to be in the stock market, I'd invest in who ever makes Febreeze as my house smells very rosy when these customers drop by.

They think I'm a nice guy for giving them curb service as I always bring in their computers and take them out to their cars.

an ozone generator and/or carbon scrubber would take care of that problem ya kno

you said branches were blocking house #.
thats why branches were cut. they are not supposed to be covered for fire dept. or 911.

Yeah....I know and now that the windows of the house are being closed at night, and I have some very stinky stuff in the flower room, I'm going to have to pull the trigger and get serious about odor control.

Did I mention I like the smell of buds in my house? I run my lights/fans at night and the first time I go into my kitchen in the morning it smells sooo wonderful.

Wonder if the cops did this to try getting close to my place to try smelling or see if they could see anything and if i came out they would use cutting down the branch as a excuse for snooping around. Does any one think there could be another reason, this branch was blocking Evey thing my mail box house number and a clear veiw from the road into the front door. Who the fuck did this.. my power bill is $275 a month. At 0.5900 kwh . Almost 6 cent

Ok Ok Ok it was me damnit all, I cut it down cause I hit meh head on the damn thing, now go enjoy your damn garden and stop thinking so much!

It's always good to be over-cautious, but cops will either kick your door in, or they won't. They probably wouldn't mess with your tree. haha
