you dont have a clue either. nice colour but it isnt strong enough. and white is useless as tits on a bull. it makes them apear brighter like conversion bulbs do but those suck to. since when does a plant use white light...lol. again someone that has never done an acutal real life test and thinks paper work is the truth. suckers born every day.
everyone that run led all i ever see is the colour..colour colour..who cares whn its to week to do a real grow with. again. there are reasons you dont see them with us older guys that been growing for as long as most you kids been alive and been there done that and go back to the hid. you wont see any led in any profession grow rooms. wonder why if they been so great
i do agree with the beef bisquick dood that plasma look interesting and im waiting to try them our myself soon. i find it funny that some think 25 bucks is to much money to run a 600 watt hid per month with probably double the end result, the better potency and more yield should pay the so called expense off for the utilities.
You understand that "white light" is all colors combined, right? When all colors are reflected off of of a surface, we say the surface is white in color. They didn't teach you basic science in school?
The color temperature of white light designates which spectrum the majority of the light belongs to. HPS and MH produce both produce white light you dumbass, HPS has most of it's focus in the yellow/green (or useless spectrum's) and MH has more focus in the blue spectrum (but still a ton in yellow) , that's why it's cooler white light.
1)Most people that use LED's also use LST, ScRog, or both - penetration is not an issue.
2)Some companies are using 5-6watt diodes that are x4 as bright as the CREE 3w chips - penetration is not an issue.
3)Most companies are now using lensed LED's that employ a
second lens to focus light more - penetration is not an issue.
These are
old problems that for the most part have been, or are being, phased out. Stop reading LED literature from years ago!
Metal Halide Spectrum (notice the majority of blue (vegging) and a lot of still yellow, and basically useless?)
High pressure sodium spectrum (notice the majority of light is yellow, and far less useful?)
You notice that there's at least a little light all the way along in both graphs? THAT MEANS IT'S WHITE LIGHT. You have literally been arguing against HPS and MH with your white light spiel, both are white lights just of different color temperature you dolt. HPS is 1800-2800k in temp (warm white) and MH are over 3000k (cool white).
You've literally talked yourself out of a position. I'm not really sure how you've grown for 30 years without knowing the most basic shit about lights, like the color temp of the bulbs
you're using and the fact that they're both white light.
Some people's children...
