waste of money, either invest lots more money into something decent or just go hps

HPS systems can be had at reasonable prices with a digital ballast. BUT , factor in where and how your grow room/area will deal from heat. LEDS are good for small medium grows. Money is the name of game in buying LEDS like Apache or others.
However there are some middle of the road panels that produce.
In spite of opening a can of worms with other growers. LED panels do grow well.
A good grower can grow with many lighting choices. You CAN GROW with T5 , CFL , Sunlight , UFO , , HPS and COB. once you get your grows under your belt , you can upgrade lights.

Why don't you go on Led and other light thread?!?
There is many info about many pannel...and many warn/advices
I was like you few month ago,did not know a shit about led/cob.Now I understand more things,thanks to RIU guys who are led/cob pro IMHO.
Without them I would not have been able to build my own DIY panel...
So,go,read,think,ask,build and harvest large crops!!!!
