Question about vegging.

When you place a seed in soil and as soon as it pops through the soil, thats when it has entered into the vegging stage, correct?

nope - thats the seedling stage. The vegging stage starts when the seedling gets its true leaves.

I've heard this before but most people do not go by this.

Dudes... I'm WELL in to veg and I still have my cotylendons or how ever you spell it, pretty much when they get their first set of 7 blades or 2nd set of 5, that's about 4-5 nodes not including the little round ones.

Normally I'd say something along the lines of "we were all new once" or "we're all here to learn" but omfg unless you have real experience you shouldn't be trying to help, you're still learning.

There's no reason for them to fall off. Even as dead plant matter it might take until the trunk thickens enough to dislodge them. Also, consider the source of info seemed to know this, as a sure thing, but didn't know what 'cotyledon' leaves were.

Given the situation that's like being an expert on that game, whatcha call it? Guys kick a round thing about a field, into a net. Anyway, I'm an expert on that thing... Dunno what it's called though.

Pics of my current grow Barney's Farm Critical Kush 43 days from seed 9 inches tall and lollipoped the other day in anticipation of flowering, one 600w MH one 600w hps dimmable currently running both at 50%. Last harvest one 600w hps 4 White Widow x Big Bud veged for 52 days from seed flower for about 72 days and pulled 20oz.

did anyone exactly answer your question here? anyway man i consider mine veg stage ,when you get your first 3set of leaves, i just use water until they show me signs.
