They look pretty healthy so I would just stay the course. If they are at 6 weeks now there is zero chance of them being properly done before 10 weeks. Like I mentioned in my last post I don’t see any signs of maturity.I’m gonna go light with nutes for another week I’m sure these are gonna go past week 8
I never took them to ten weeks they always had problems, this is the first time I also took the veg nutes to week 5 so I’ve never seen them this green this far in, they are fading but not as fast as usual, I usually do a week 8 harvest so kind of exciting to let them go fartherThey look pretty healthy so I would just stay the course. Well how much weight have you been getting on average in the past with how you are running? I personally would do less veg, more plants, smaller pots... The last time I grew a few years ago the two strains I ran, I did them in one gallon pots, 12/12 from seed and the strain was a decent yielder and both strains were related so I got 1-2 oz per plant and the plants were small so I had a lot! I filled my 4x4 with 40 plants from seeds that were regular so I had to pull the males out once I could spot them. But still had about 28 plants. So this round I’m thinking of taking a new approach, 12 plants 5 gal soil in my 5x5, minimal training, no more months of veg time, and having various plants at different stages, when some finish they get chopped and replaced with ones from the veg tent, thoughts? Effects on yield?just sick of the long veg time to completely fill a trellis canopy
You could run 24-32 in one gallon pots and just put 6-8 every two weeks as you pull 6-8 no veg time so they would be solid buds, not much trim. If you only got 7 grams per plant that would still be an ounce or two every two weeks. If you had the goal of 14-28 per plant, and a strain capable, you could be getting 4-8 ounces every two weeks. With smaller plants and less veg, the plants will get more light, be quality buds and have basically no time for problems to happen trying to veg. Just a solid healthy seed or clone straight to flower. And the plant will finish all at once, early. Bigger plants take longer and the tops finish before the bottoms. Not sure how much you normally get from a scrog plant after waiting all that veg time. But imagine no veg and pulling 1-2 ounce per plant! The guy that taught me had small plants shorter than his knees with 4-8 ounce each plant! Thanks for the responses! Just flipped to flower now, 12 of the same strain, will give them grow nutes for about the first three weeks then bloom, predictable stretch I been running this strain for years, will harvest one row at 8 weeks like usual and one row I wanna push to 10 weeks just to see, adding another row from the veg tent as I go! Under my Scorpion Diablo, will also be keeping mothers as I can take bigger clones from the well established plants, replacing a mother every 3 months or so
That's how you learn to grow! You bork crops You figure it out then bork more crops in different ways. There's never a crop you don't look at and go I could have done __________ better. Hang in there if you can.I lose 2 crops in a row I have to take tents down and forget the hobby for now
