I'm on my 3rd grow now and I still don't think I've got my nute schedule down for my medium, pot size, or strain. I have been using bagseed to practice until I know what I'm doing. I was hoping I could ask your opinions on how often I should water, what nute amounts I should be using, how often I should be nuting, etc.
Up to now this is what I have been doing.
Clone: In aero-cloner with pre-airated water. (Seems to work great no real problems here.)
Transplanted directly into 3gal pots filled with Promix-BX (75-85% Peat Moss,
Vermiculite,Perlite ,Dolamitic & Calcitic Limestone,Myrocorise Pro) after 3 weeks in cloner. (Roots roughly 5-6in long.) (This step usually goes fine as well but some shock takes place for a few days after transplant.)
Veg: 3 weeks in veg station. No nutes until new growth starts after transplant. (Usually 4 days to a week) After that I use 15ml Pure Blend Pro Grow and 5ml CalMag to one gallon of water (De-chlorinated, airated tap water) every day. I use this one gallon to feed 4 plants every day.
Flower: Once put into my flowering room I start using 20ml Pure Blend Pro Bloom and 5ml CalMag to one gallon water. I use one gallon of this mix for 4 plants as well as an extra gallon of water given right after because my 1k dries out my soil pretty fast..
During the last 3 weeks of flowering I use 5ml of Sweet along with one gallon of water to flush. (I assume this is like the mollasses tip just hydro-safe.)
My questions are pretty simple. Am I overfeeding? Am I overwatering? If so how much should I cut back? How often should I flush ?(Usually don't flush at any point until the end.) What pH should I aim for when I mix my nutes? Should I test the runoff? If so how?
On a side note I am in the process of curing fungal gnats. Does the insectiside I'm using affect pH? After I have cured this infestation how can I change my schedule to prevent this? (I've seen people using H202 as a preventive measure.
I really appreciate any help anyone can give me!
