PTC Heaters

Hello,

I've seen this heater and would like some advise; it mentions it uses a PTC resistor to control heat output, however if I put my thermostat in the power supply feeding this I assume I will have the control?

Anyone got anything similar? or advice?

I've got a small growroom and this is appealing because of its small size only 15mm tall so I can slot it under a piece of slate and pop plant pots on top

and you want to plug in some control device....I say avoid, these clay type heaters have some serious electrics going on...but you may try ....but I say avoid
