What happened in the courthouse

Was the Record of Affidavit for those Search Warrants used unsealed?

What's the plan now?

Well we never went in. The case that got every one there was postponed... Hopefully now Brendon's court appointed lawyer will be replaced now.
It was called a little early. Some of the local supporters brought some cute-as-little-buttons toddlers. And well it seems that children of ours are not allowed to use the public restroom.

Expect a thread. ;((

They always postpone when a 'group' of interested citizens sit in......sounds like you got sum of those '63%' to be there and it made a difference!:clap::clap:

Now keep the pressure on....they usually figure people wont return for a repeat when its postponed
......pack the courthouse for the next one!:cuss::cuss::cuss:

Dont give up either!

-call the ACLU for the bathroom bS--would be nice to see one of their reps up there defending your rights to peacefully assemble

Wouldnt let the 'CHILDREN' use the restrooms?!??!

Isnt the courthouse a 'public' building
....bought and payed for by the 'local' taxpayers?

And the workers......""public"" ---'servants'......?
They work for the public.....NOT the sheriff......???

How many people showed?

I love a good courthouse protest......

--ALwAYS makes a difference:clap:

And as a simple law enforcement administrator, who does the Sheriff "work" for? The Judicial, The Executive or both?

A courthouse is one of the most "secure" locations in any given community across this country today. It was not always that way, but this has become publicly acceptable today as the standard for "justice". What exactly makes a courtroom so dangerous as to justify such extreme security measures and secrecy  Why and how are our Sheriff's Deputies indistinguishable from modern deployed combat troops? What is so "civil" about these chosen few as to justify incivility out of hand without accountability

Note the difference of simply the State taking over for the County in MO tonight. Night and day, standard uniform troopers among the crowds, not militarized deputies staring down and challenging protesters. It should be clear to all the local corruption that community faces, just as these citizens of Wexford County and so many more across this state.

Glad to hear some were able to make it. Not surprising it was postponed a long used tactic as stated before. Also helps drag things out for the prosecutors to work on getting a plea bargain..........

Well done........

I've had to enter this court house for 20 years with the career I quit when I met Cps. I've watched the barriers and detectors come in.
One day the pig on the wand noticed I was less than pleased with the illegal search.... Prob cause I said I was pissed to be searched?....
His reply? It was all there to protect ME. Boy did his fat ass get straightened out....

Btw? I've never been in that courthouse unarmed..stupid fuckers!!

Remember William Reddie's killing back in 2012 at the hands of local LEO & CPS in Grayling/Crawford County: http://www.thedailychronic.net/2012/10051/michigan-is-father-killed-in-marijuana-child-removal-incident/

"Reddie’s killing took place on February 3, but we only became aware of it when news broke this week that prosecutors had decided that the police officer’s use of deadly force in the incident was justified."

I'm not attempting justifying ignorant and/or criminal action by any individual government officials, be it police officers or CPS agents. My point here is that the cover up and evasion of accountability (why it keeps happening) is the purview of their leadership, both Executive (mayor) and Judicial (DA) whom obviously have a horse in this race (conflict of interest).

For a general example here in this state, your treatment as a MJ patient/caregiver in Genesee County is not the same as in Oakland County regardless of your color. Being arrested and convicted in Pontiac for trafficking Schedule I narcotics and not in Flint says nothing of the character of those police departments. Your police department and CPS are under the control and direction of your local Executive bound by the checks and balances of the Judicial and that's how we arrive at "justice" under this system of government.

If we are ever going to address this problem we must understand it. As a Michigan state citizen I am ashamed of what we allowed to happen to William Reddie, both our Executive and Judaical leadership from Grayling to Lansing to Washington DC, but mostly that a majority of us could not really give a fuck. Would we know more about William Reddie's killing if he were black

Ignorance = Hopelessness

It's the cancer killing us, not the symptoms we choose to acknowledge ...

U saw in that the CPS workers involved did not have to even report to the prosecutor charged with what laughingly was referred to as an investigation ?

I saw nothing in this case or it's handling that did not viscerally disturb me brother, and what will never be known under this "justice system" breeds only contempt for those whom wish to understand it.

The LEO entered Reddie's home with a shot gun and CPS to take his child based on wrongful, arrogant and ignorant accusations, NOT probable cause. As this use of force and seizure were wrong from a policy perspective of both LEO & CPS, how could the killing of Reddie with that shotgun witnessed by his son in the presence of CPS ever be "justified" under law and/or guise of protecting that child or the community  CPS successfully getting custody of this child through such maleficence/violence and the LEO not only walking, but returning to duty is beyond comprehension to me. Furthermore, this was not the only citizen "justifiably" shot by LEO under this leadership within that community during this time frame and I would argue a symptom of the given situation (cancer).

This video is YouTube's only reference to this case and it has only a hundred views.

The only other "reporting" is both rare and by pro MJ activists (link quoted) ...

Are some individuals civil right to life & liberty more valuable or important than another
