Welcome back to the completion of week 1 flower! I am starting to get some bud sites for sure. I have also sexed all of my plants in the flower room and the feminized seeds have given me 6 females out of 6. My little retard is long gone. I finally decided to just scrap it which I should have done long ago. The roots were brown and slimy inside so it was only a matter of time. My other plants are doing great. I backed off of my ppms in this reservoir change because once again, I noticed a slight nitrogen toxicity. One plant had leaves dark dark green, almost black. I know this to be the beginning of slight nute burn so I backed it down to 1100 ppm.

Here is a picture of my future buds!

I ungraded my reservoir tote because it couldn't handle the volume of water and was pushing on the sides. The new reservoir I got at home depot is absolutely perfect!

My lemon haze are sprouting up like weeds lol. Definitely need to lst them. I will more than likely top them as well right before I put them into the flowering room. Actually, I have top half and see the results compared to my untopped sativas.

I need a dedicated mother light but trying to push it off for another week. There hasn't been any noticeable stretching or transplant stress so I believe everything will be okay.

I dunno whats going on with VK Generation #2 They're still green with slight slight yellowing on the hardiest clones. I began feeding with 200 ppm 5 days ago and bumped up to 300 ppm today. I haven't seen any noticeable growth but I believe everything is alright.

Stay tuned for next week's update.

Looking super nice!

Like you said, very clean setup.

Don't worry much about the clones not growing quickly, I'm having the same issue, they like to establish a massive root system before they put any energy into vegetation. My cure is to lower the humidity, not use a dome or anything and force them to grow roots by only bottom feeding, as soon as they set up you can start nutes. That worked for me anyway, got a bunch of healthy clones with 4-5 inch root systems after about 10 days in my home made aero cloner.

Totally loving your setup, I have one worry about your panda film cover though: if there is no airflow roots won't get O2 and if humidity builds up rot will take hold. Is that an issue or do you have something I'm missing?

I have heard good things about hydrogen peroxide from other sources, never needed to use it as my water source gets almost no light ever but I will definetly remember that.

Now, your using 6ml of 29% per gal, and you said every 4 days, does that mean you are adding that 1 gallon to the res? how big is the res? I guess i'm trying to figure out what the measurements would be on a smaller scale.

No, I'm adding the peroxide to the reservoir. One gallon res is 6 ml, 10 gallon res 60 ml. My reservoir is 40 gallon so I add 240 ml every 4 days. It breaks down to H2O and O2 molecules. Keeps my water clean and oxygenated for the price of 20 bucks a gallon. With my 40 gallon res, that's about 6 grows or 3 dollars and change every harvest. This stuff is nasty for us tho. Use gloves for sure or you'll bleach your skin if it spills lol.

also, this stuff is apparently an ingredient in bomb making, there was another member of this forum that mentioned that he got interviewed by ATF after making some inquiries about finding 50% solution. If I were you, I'd go to a hydro store and pay cash instead of ordering online

Week 2 Flower is complete! And as requested here are some slightly plumper budshots

Weirdly enough, these plants smelled stronger in veg than they do in flower. I don't understand that! The smell has definitely changed to something a little funkier. I didn't make the transition from veg nutes to flower very well so some of my plants are dropping a couple fan leafs. I know better for next time.

My lemon haze are doing very well! I have been training them to hopefully resemble a bush (first time). I picked up one plant and it had roots hanging down to my forearm lol. I would have taken a pic but I was afraid of damaging them. Also my lemon haze and VK's are at the same strength nutes: 1100 ppm. The haze plants are fully 4 weeks younger than the kush. I don't know if this is genetic differences or the fact that the poor vk's were my test subjects in this process.

The VK's I plan to keep at 1000 ppm throughout flowering. I expect the Haze to be 1200-1300.

Finally, VK generation #2! They're doing awesome! Definite new growth, no signs of nute deficiency. All in all, stronger, more well developed, and healthier than anything up to this point! I urge *everybody* to start taking clones. I'm sure this isn't news to most people here, but for the newbies a veg and flower system with perpetual clones is the way to go. Never buy seeds again. Out of 20, one looks near death and one is struggling. That's a 10% loss which is within acceptable levels. Looks like i'll be taking 24 clones to get 20 healthy plants.

Lookin' awsome!

It really is true, Vk's don't stretch at all huh? the pics look to be the same height but fatter buds.

Nice work on the clones, 90% is great for traditional cloning.
Using an aeroponic cloner is working out well for me with only one draw back, the roots grow so fast you have to get them out of the cloner in a week or 2 or you cannot get them out at all lol.

oh no, expect your vk's to stretch for sure. My healthiest one almost doubled in height already. the other two not so much. One because it was weaker and the other probably due to poor lighting.

Hey sorry for the late update. Had lots of developments and quite a lot of work. Let's just get right into the pictures and i'll explain as we go.

This is a before shot but with the addition of another 400w MH for my mothers. The light is perfect for them but I will soon be moving over my two lemon haze mothers and one might be squeezed out of the spotlight so to speak. The two vk's are in 5 gallon pots.

Here is a side picture of my Lemon Haze. They're a little leggy but I was expecting that since they are sativas.

The veg flood and drain table was built and installed. It fits *perfectly* in the space. Here is a side shot of that.

Here is a better angle. It's 4 ft x 3 ft and has a capacity of 40 plants. 25 gallon res but I could reduce that to 20 if I wanted. This one went a lot smoother than the first one. I learned a lot the first time lol

Here is a picture of my two mother candidates after they have been lst'd. I'm not too sure if i want to continue with this strain due to the difficulties of production...they will not be budding as much as the VK's, I can already tell that and they throw off my schedule because of their 11 week flowering stage. vk's harvest in 8 weeks. I took 4 clones from a Big Bud freebie and will probably make the transition over to that instead. That plant looked awesome.

Let's move over to the flowering room for a bit. I didn't take many pictures of the flowering plants because most of the updates are in my veg room. I know it's boring lol, but my veg room is the engine of this operation. This is a before shot with the VK's 3 weeks into flower

and this is the after shot with the Lemon Haze moving in and *partly* taking over lol.

Back in the Veg room I transplanted VK #2 clones into hydroton and stuck em in their newly made table along with the Lemon Haze mothers. I'm not too happy with the amount of growth on my mothers so I want to veg them hydroponically for a few more weeks until I move them into dirt.

I just couldn't be happier about how well the clones rooted. The roots were bright white and filling the starter plug. I plan on vegging for 4 weeks, maybe 5 and moving them over into their own flowering table. this will be my first true harvest.

I took clones from the lemon haze before putting them into flower. It was a lot more difficult to find appropriate sites for the cuttings. I ended up taking 4 large clones from a big bud seed and 3 more from a moby dick. I took a couple from my mothers and filled out the rest with the best of the other plants. the smoke from this plant has to be amazing for me to continue with it. anddd stay tuned next week!

Woohoo Week 5! 3 more weeks to go. I'm loving the end of this, my first grow, but the wait is literally unbearable! Not to mention the fact that I promised myself the next time I smoked it would be my own homegrown weed lol. that was 5 weeks ago! I'm gonna be 2 months without smoking all because I'm a stubborn ass. it better be worth it lol.

So the big news is in the flower room. I think I finally have some pictures that qualify as bud porn. I'll let you be the judge.

Here is a close up of my best growing VK

The smell is ridiculous. To answer your question prof, no I'm not using co2. That will be my first major upgrade after a few harvests. To be honest my ventilation is not good at all, I'm sure the lack of co2 is affecting the yield. I haven't even put in a fan ventilation system yet. That should come in the next two weeks hopefully.

Here's a view of the flowering part of the room.

And here is a picture of the entire table. VK and Lemon Haze combined into one table. Surprisingly this hasn't caused any problems.

I am *really* impressed with the northern lights/big bud freebie both with the original plant and the newly taken clones. I have plans to phase out the lemon haze and have the big bud cross take over. It's simply too complicated to have plants on different schedules.

My mothers are doing very well with a dedicated light. I can even put the two lemon haze in the corner of the ebb table and have the proper lighting for them. I will probably throw them in with the vk's as I will be switching to the big bud. I hope to be able to do the big bud without mothers by taking cuttings until I have 24 plants and then taking a clone from each.

The vk's are slowly coming along. I can tell the quality of clones I had to use for the first round of cuttings will not compare to future rounds. My vk mothers have really taken off and will provide wonderful clones.

I'm hoping that the past week has been spent growing out the root system because foliage growth isn't much

The Lemon Haze clones are not as good as the VK. Yet another reason why I plan on scrapping them as producers. It looks like I will be getting maybe 14 out of 20 4 of which are the northern lights clones.

Until next week!

Love it! you are stubborn, hard to buy weed when you have a room full of it growing but damn!

Every thing looks really great, the lack of co2 doesn't seem to be hurting you that much, it really helps if your temps are high (82 or more) plus your room is sealed so you would be able to keep your ppm high.
