Problem with one of my plants (first timer)

i'm about 8 weeks into my first grow from seed and one of my plants is starting to turn brown on the lower leaves and curl up on the tips on the upper leaves. I thought it might be a build of up nutrient solution so i changed the solution and it does not look like its getting any better. It's only one plant out of my 4 can anyone help?

Can you post a picture? I've found that stuff like you described is usually a PH problem. Are you testing the PH?

The PH should be fine if he changed the water out completely. It just depends on whether he cleaned the reservoir too while changing out the water. Rinsing the roots is debatable, but i do it. water/solution tomatoe potatoe

he still needs to check the ph after a res change your ph should sit and vary between 5.3 and 6 thats it... if you would like to find out what the problem is here is a link http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688
