well i would but i was reading on alot of forums to use 14/10 or 13/11 for more yield. I guess go putt them on 12/12 right now and as for light leakage problem i fixed that by putting a mattress over the window so everything should be fine. Thanks for the help guys ill update in a few days to let you know if it worked
do you take the mattress down when lights are on. bongsmilie

?? why would i do that it wouldnt make a difference because as i said earlier i have my light cycles opposite of the outdoor cycle, lights are on at night so taking the matress down wouldnt do anything.

as for the nutes....start with a weaker mix than suggested, but yes get nutes going again. Flower nutes also help signal the plant to flower.

alright ill add the nutes tonight when lights go back on but do you think its a good idea looking at how big my grow is by adding an extra two lights, both with 26watt flouros 2700k and replacing the one lamp with a incandescent with a 26w flouro as well?

well if your plants are 4 feet tall already and still vegging, then they will get huge during flowering. The more light the merrier, make sure you have room for them to double in size though, or you may not to look into training the plant down or eliminating some. I dont know how many watts u are dealing with at the moment. im much more familiar with HPS then CFL and floro.

no they wont grow much more im probably gunna top it tonight, is that a good idea, but anyway they wont grow much because even having the light cycle on 13/11 thats still less light than usual and the plant knows its getting close to fall/winter so i dont think it should grow much more it already shot up 2 ft since 13/11

i like running my lights on during the day and have the sun coming threw the window really helps with plant growth and flowering. :bigjoint:

ya but its spring time over here so the sun doesnt give off the kind of light spectrum that my plants need anyway. The sun doesnt give off its orange/red/yellow spectrum till mid summer - fall

If they are seed plants, they have to be ready to flower before you switch to 12/12. The most obvious sign is alternating nodes instead of opposite nodes. So when the leaves start to form the shoots one at a time (not in pairs opposite each other) the plant is ready to flower. That is why seed plants take longer to get a harvest because the plant actually has to be ready to flower, a clone can be flowered right away. Also hazes and heavy sativas can take a long time to start flowering. My sexually mature haze cross I have going now did not show a single pistal until the 4th week of 12/12. It may be slow but I bet is gonna be real good smoke. Hope this helps!

not from any of the post on this tread but all the info you started with is crap. its the fucking sun. it gives more to your plant in one hour than 24 hours with your cheap cfls. even in winter, summer, spring, fall, its the sun i think its 10,000 lumens a square foot.

any sun at any time of a grow is very good for a plant. it don't matter what time of he year as long as your not depending on the sun to veg and flower a plant in the off season. any sun during flower and veg with your lights on is very good. i like what i see. :weed:

I also have a question, judging by the size of my plants and if they all turn out to be females, how much bud do you think i will generate. I have 1 Dual Spectrum II 105watts, 1 Dual Spectrum 65 flowering bulb (pretty sure 43-60 watts) 2 23watt cfls 2700k, one desk light lol and one full spectrum incandescent

from what i see your wattage is very low. 105, 65, 23, 23 =216. the desk light doesnt count because it has no usable light. depending on the wattage of your full spectrum you will have very lanky airy buds. i would suggest cutting off some lower growth to stimulate the upper buds since your light wont penetrate the bottom. that will help get some more density but i think you will be disappointed unless you get more light. also, you may want to try tying them down or something because if you are inches from the ceiling, they will get about 35-40% bigger in flower than they are now.. i know you said they wont get bigger, but they do grow for the first 3-4 weeks of true flower normally.
