I agree with newworldicon. My wife's cat found its way into the grow room and attacked one of my plants last year. Had to take a couple of deep breaths and enhance my calm before I did something I would later regret to the cat. I was able to put humpty dumpty back together again and she healed. Did stunt things for a bit but didn't turn her into a he/she.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm really hoping she doesnt turn on me. And for reference does it matter what kind of tape?

I don't think it matters, all I've used before was insulation/electrical tape or masking tape, both worked well.

ok thanks, thats what I figured but I wasnt sure if duct tape would be too sticky and actually damage the stem taking it off or something

Here are some updated shots. There are a couple of the humboldt, it has definately slowed growth since the accident but no ill effects except for the obvious. Plus plenty of shots of bud sites on the pineapple!

I should mention that the above pictures are from two weeks in and i have also since started adding a teaspoon of molasses to their feedings. I will post more pics in the next couple days.

Here are some bud shots of the pineapple. The crystals are starting to form so the pictures should be a lot more interesting from here on out.The humboldt is like a week or two behind since the tragedy so there isn't really much to look at when compared haha. But it is still doing well, healthy and coming along nicely. 100_0599.jpg100_0588.jpg100_0597.jpg100_0589.jpg100_0600.jpg100_0583.jpg

Tomorrow marks the day of the half way mark, give or take a few days. The buds are starting to bulk up and getting fatter. The crystals are also starting to come on thick. This week I also have pictures of the Buku outside. It has been doing really well but on my last visit I see it has been chewed on by some varmint of some sort. The bottom couple leaves and a couple branches had been ate. But all in all it is looking really good. Its about 5' tall and starting to show pistils!

Sorry guys but my girls guinea pig chewed the power cord to the laptop which is now dead and Im posting this with my phone. I will have a new power cord and updated pics in a few days. Well today is day 36 and the buds and crystals on the PE are really filling in. The top cola is a solid 8" tall and still filling in. The humboldt is budding well also but still quite behind the PE. For the past week and a half it has had 1-3 fingered odd shaped leaves but just within the last few days the buds really started to fill in. I was getting worried that it was flowering but not going to produce any buds. I haven't seen a bananas either but have been keeping and eye out for them.

What's most amazing, is that the plants she picks are usually the best.

Your never too late! Glad to have ya endive and thank you! How do you like your light?

I finally got a new wire and some new bud shots for ya. The buds have really filled out since the last time you guys seen them! The first 9 pictures are of the pineapple which looks absolutely beautiful. The last 2 pictures are of the humboldt, picture 10 is the right way its just tied down, which is coming along but the buds are really airy and show a lot of stem. I used to have the fan up in the corner blowing over the canopy but i figured maybe that was the problem because the pine apple is dense but also a little airy. The fan was closer to the humboldt so it makes sense in theory. So I moved the fans around the other day and seems to be helping as the pineapple is getting denser. Also on day 42 I switched my light to all red spectrum and starting the first of August I plan to turn the lights back to 11 on 13 off. Well since nothing really drastic happened besides the immense crystal and bud formation lets get on to the pictures...

Well it's day 50 and as far as I can tell I still have mostly clear or underdeveloped trichs on the pineapple. There is also new bud growth forming and attitude doesn't say how many weeks it takes so does anyone have experience with pineapple express that can give me a general idea of how long it should take? I will post some pics in the next couple days with some macro shots of the trichs. None the less I took a lower branch for a sample for an upcoming Kottonmouth Kings concert. I know it won't be as good as the final product but I'll let you guys know how it was! Thanks for any tips and +rep to any help and judgement from past pictures

Here are some updated shots. They are all of the pineapple and I tried to get some good trich shots but couldn't get great ones with this camera. I know they aren't amber yet but can someone help me distinguish if they are cloudy or if they are clear? Well the KMK show was a blast and the pineapple smoke was great but I still can't wait to try the finished product and see what it can really do!

Well, I ended up chopping the pineapple down yesterday and its drying now. I fast dried some of the undergrowth and I'm pretty damn high right now! I did weigh the PE wet and got 180.4g's. I can't wait to see what it dries to! I will update in a few days with pictures and final numbers. The Humboldt is starting to really come along and start budding. It looks like its only a couple weeks in so I have quite a wait yet with that one, I will also put up some pictures of it.

Well I finally allowed it to dry and weighed it up and it weighed 42.5g plus a few early samples. I can't wait for the humboldt to finish up and see what this light gave me for a final yield. But off the pineapple alone that's .24g/w at the advertised 180 watt or .33g/w for the actual 130 watts. Not to count my chickens before they hatch but I should easily hit my .5 g/w goal for this grow since i'm still learning. Every grow I learn more and more and each harvest is getting better. There were a few things I did wrong this grow that I'll do differently next time.

The pineapple is a very smooth smoke and a smoother high. This is a great wake and bake strain as it doesn't knock you out. And I did harvest it on the early side but thats the way I like it. It is absolutely covered with orange hairs and crystals. I do like this strain alot!

The humboldt is coming along still. It looks like its only on like week 3-4, It was stunted for quite a while but is flowering nicely now. I'll take some pictures tomorrow when the lights are on.

As far as the light, it has been fantastic and if the humboldt hadn't been crushed and stunted and finished sooner The g/w would be right on par. The buds were airy but I did have a fan blowing on them for a couple weeks or else I believe they would have been really nice dense buds.
