pressure cookers cheap

I saw a very tall pressure cooker at bed bath and beyond the other day. It was tall enough to cook one quart jar at a time. With coupon it was 16 dollars. Anyone on a budget but wants to step up from pf might consider that two full quart jars can easily spawn three cubic feet of straw. Conditions being right you could get between one quarter and three quarter pound of dried mushrooms from that.

I regret selling my old one from the late 70's at the garage sale before I moved. The thing was a tank, and really "something they don't make it like they use to". Should have kept it for distilling or canning. It was a beast

it is uncool to use things and not pay for them. I have found that one should be as ethical as possible when involving oneself with mushrooms. Be squeaky clean when approaching the flesh of the gods, be humble and reverent or face the horrible consequences of a confrontation with your own soul.

I sometimes find the 'all american brand' at yard sales and second hand stores , their the heavy dudy all aluminm flanged seal with no gasket to leak . But in the last 10 years the prepper movment nabs them up fast

Most second hand stores will take your info. and give you a call when whatever your looking for comes in , for a few extra bucks
