Prescription Drugs

I think you are confusing your state of mind with psychosis. Anxiety and psychosis are very different things. It may be hard to manage, but it isn't a psychotic episode. If you were having psychotic episodes without any pharmaceutical influence prescribed the Paxil to you would have treated you differently.

Like I said, I'm glad it works for you. But also beware of side effects.

Yeah, I'm a slow typer and was trying to make it easy on myself and got lazy, sorry.

It's boils down to risk versus reward. For me, the reward FAR outweighs the risks.

The #1 reason I get from the medical community for not using cannabis for anxiety is it causes Rebound Anxiety. Anxiety tends to return when you cease using Cannabis it is reported. So I'm not to use something to help my anxiety because when I stop my anxiety will return? It'd be funny if it wasn't true.

I've used alcohol and virtually all pharma out there to combat my anxiety and insomnia. Hands down Cannabis. Alcohol worked but hangovers are a pricey side effect. Only the benzos worked and it took a few short years to get so tolerant I was only taking them to avoid withdrawels, horrible withdrawels. I cannot name one SSRI that helped -

Please throw out more strains anyone's found effective? I would like to have a high CBD strain in my next cycle if there are any suggestions to that also! Thanks

Check out the CBD crew. Herijuana is known to have high levels of CBD (but higher THC), Sannie has a seed version, he has good gear. Cannatonic I believe from resin seeds, but I think it only comes femmed and I would never recommend fem gear to anyone.

Sounds like we better not ever quit smokin cannabis, doctor knows best......LOL!bongsmilie

Going by that theory, nobody should take ANYTHING for anxiety. Anxiety should always come back, no matter what drug is being used, once it's ceased being taken.

Thank You I get to wondering at times when surrounded by Shrinks making jibberish sense if just maybe I am crazy.

Some doctors do just hand out pills like candy..usually because they themselves are also taking the pills, so they see no issue with it...or they just like the money...one of my friends gets pain pills from a dr near us..he doesn't need pain pills cuz he hurts. He needs the pain pills cuz he is addicted, and that makes him hurt...anyway his dr got busted giving pills to pillheads with no regard for safety and ignoring his oath to do so...so they just arrested his dr this week, so now he is totally effed, because no other dr will see the people that were being seen by that dr, because they are all addicted to pills now and that is all they are coming for, and then the new dr risks getting arrested too...

What kills me are the drs that indiscriminately hand out pills to people that don't know better, so then they get hooked and then when that dr goes under we have a bunch of little old ladies jumping off bridges and such because they are prescribed to take 3 xanax 3 times a day...it is really sad, but I see it happen all the time in my area...some drs don't care at all...all they know is that they get money from the drug companies for writing the scripts and he gets money from the patients for the visits...the issue is when they get medicaid patients addicted to percs when they started coming to you for a cold...lol.

And I suffer from depression so I often see this one...you are waiting to see your Doctor and here is this jackass in a suit with his little rolling suitcase of medical malpractice...so when I go in and talk to my dr. he wants to give me this new answer to all my problems, that he has a lot of samples of to try...because that spinelss heartless drug rep just wheeled in a suitcase of samples..

Our Dr. ends up giving us pills that don't even make sense for what we are going for..like they used to be on a celebrex kick...which is like mega mega ibuprofen...so it can make your stomach bleed and can give you ulcers, and even cause death, but when you go to out doctor he wants to give it to you for everything...even though it is a really high powered anti-inflammatory usually used to help treat rheumatoid arthritis...But if you go for a toothache they try to give you celebrex, pulled muscle, celebrex...stress---celebrex...it doesn't fix everything...I understand that Pfizer or Merck give you a bonus everytime you fling these pills at people, but is it worth stomach bleeding to get relief from a pulled muscle?

Healthcare is not about health...it has become as capitalized as everything else here...it is all about money, and not about health...sucks, because there are lots of sick people...I want to try meds because they have helped a lot of people, or they actually work, not because my doctor can make more money for writing me the prescription...

I was at the shrinks once getting tested for ADD. The discussion turned to weed, and I was told the "dangers" of smoking weed.

I pointed at a picture of him with his buddy. They were standing in front of a coffee shop in Amsterdam. He smiled and said, "I know, But I'm not allowed to tell you the benefits of weed".
I never did fill that prescription for ritalin.bongsmilie

that's what fucking gets me about all of these prescription drugs.. growing up i always heard of people having to run off to meixico or switzerland in order to get certain operations and or drugs as the fda hadn't approved them for use in the us, so i had always thought they actually did something..
anymore i sit and watch tv during the day, and it seems like every other commercial is either a big pharma co pushing their latest and greatest cure all, all with a huge list of side effects..my favorite being the anti-depressant that cause suicide in people.. really, wtf is that??
or the other half of the ads i see are from law firms saying if you took one of the big pharma pills and how have a kid with 3 heads and a four foot cock, please call the law offices of johnny cochran to get in on the class action lawsuit..
it all really makes me sick tbh..

Three heads and a four foot cock?? You could service four women at once in two different ways...I fail to see the problem.

Seriously thought, prescription pills especially opiates are the biggest problem up where I live. Everyone and their mum is on Hydrocodone or Oxycodone. I think the issue is it's a big farming community. Farmers get aches and pains, they go to the doctor who tosses pills at them, then one of two things happens: The guy gets addicted, or he realizes selling his pills brings in some extra money and it's hard to get caught doing.

Now if weed was legal, they could grow it themselves in their fields, no more aches and pains and no addiction. And they could legally sell left overs or make hemp products. It's win-win.

This is one of many reasons to find a doctor that you trust. Not the closest, or most convenient, or cheapest. Find one that actually has your best interests in mind.
And ALWAYS find out what it is you're being prescribed before blindly shoving pills down their throat.

On a side note, You can buy whatever drug you want over the internet. It might take some looking, and you might get ripped off a couple times, but it won't take long. People will find what they're looking for.

Well now I am super confused...I have taken every SSRI and a few of the SNRIs known to pharmaceuticals and haven't yet gone crazy and wanted to kill someone, never even thought about harming anyone else...have taken quite a few that made me want to kill myself, or adjust my pants over and over and over...Is it not possible that when these people that are on SSRIs go crazy and kill people it is not the SSRI, but the fact that they are ineffectual for long term treatment? I mean there is a reason these people were on these meds, and it isn't always because they have the same issues I have...some people are depressed and violent towards others...anyway is it not possible that these people that happened to be taking SSRIs killed people not because of a drug side effect, but because the drug was no longer working and they were back to thinking in their unhealthy manner that was the reason they were on the pills to begin with...and I am sorry to tell you guys, but any 15 year old that has a history of being addicted to cocaine does not surprise me that they would stab someone...and I dont' think the antidepressants did it...I have taken them for most of my life, and not taken them as well...I have stopped cold turkey, and taken 2 or 3 different kinds at a time sometimes....but here I am off of them most of the time, but needing them for stints...like now...I have just started taking some new one....I am hoping it will work, because the weight that I drag around all the time started getting heavier and heavier about a year ago, and I tried to deal with it...I mean I know it for what it is...I started taking my 1st antidepressant when I was 9...so this is not my first rodeo with crippling depression...anyway I know it for what it is and it doesn't usually get me too low, but this time I am just not able to control it like i feel I need to...and when you are down you start to wonder if you were ever alright, or were you just kidding yourself...are you making everyone around you miserable just like you have been all along, or are you just feeling this way because you are depressed, and when I get to where I can't tell the difference, then I go see someone...
and it usually helps me enough to get back up and get going again, til it strikes again...I wish there was a pill that actually fixed it, and some can lift the weight for a few months at a time...and I would even love to play another good round of chase the magic concoction that will fix it all, but I just can't afford to...so I have to try what I can try during the time I can afford to do anything...and this will probably cause me to one day go crazy...but it is what it is...I mean I could commit suicide one day while on an SSRI..and some people would say the pill made me do it, but isn't it possible that I was just as likely to do it when not on the pill? I mean isn't that what I am taking the pill for to begin with...?
So perhaps these people were a little nutcakes, and their Dr. was having a hard time nailing down the right pill, or nobody noticed when the working one had stopped working, so these people just did what they would have done sooner if not for the pill?
I have taken some antidepressants that made me more depressed...and probably would have killed myself, if not for my family that was like where are the pills...you are only getting worse, and nothing you feel right now is how things really are...so let's make an appt, til then stop taking these...
Like I said...I usually know the depression for what it is...but when it really grabs hold of you all you can do is get pulled down...down....down...and then blip---all gone...unless there is something or someone there to pull you back up before you get too low to bear it...

I have known many true addicts to specific diet pills, and of course pain meds, and anxiety pills that say the ones online aren't the same...that they just don't feel the same...
I have never had an issue stopping anything other than some moderate, but manageable anxiety, and irritability...and I unknowingly smoked crack for 2 weeks...so it really isn't hard to stop anything as long as you don't let it get too far in the first place..but too many people blindly rely on their Doctor to prescribe the right meds in the right dosages, and they end up getting poisoned because that Doctor doesn't care about you...

Alright, I have 2 perfect examples of errors I have caught, without ever going to college--for more than a few semesters---anyway

A lady I was staying with when I was younger was allergic to Codeine and she had a lot of Diabetic Nerve pain she took meds for, tramadol and things such as that...anyway the tramadol wasn't cutting it, so she called her doc to call her in another prescription and they sent her Vicodin...and I told her you can't take that it's codeine based...so she called them again and she said you guys know I can't take codeine, I need something else...so they sent her a script of Percocet!?! I was like OMG give me that telephone!!! Are you kidding me...they would have killed this woman twice if I hadn't been standing there...

Example #2

My mother in law has all manner of psychiatric issues that have been improperly dealt with, and medication side effects have been treated as part of the issue and give more pills for...anyway Some yahoo prescribed her to take Adderrall which the generic name for adderrall is Amphetamine Salts...so Speed...and Xanax together...and not one Xanax...but like 10 mgs of speed and 15 mgs of xanax 3 times a day...along with a whole host of other meds...they had her taking xanax and ativan together...so they gave her speed when she told them she was confused a lot and tired all the time...FUCK ME!!! I had to have a really good sit down with her, and a call with a random pharmacist about meds that should never be taken together....Her doc had her prescription speedballing all day everyday..Just a few months ago she got in trouble because the same doc wrote her a script for the whole huge bottle of Vicodin, and then for some reason called in the same huge pharmacy dispenser bottle of Percocet...and the pharmacy flagged it, and then everyone acted like it was her fault, while she sits there all doped up when all she did was follow the instructions she was given...so now she is all strung out all time, and there is no way she can go back now...she can't stop most of the stuff she is on...but she did switch docs and they took away like 15 of the things she was taking, because by stopping taking one, she wouldn't need 2 others...it's insane.

Sorry, I was talking about the different oxys and opiates. Well, everything really.
There are legit vendors out there selling the real shibang. Unless you know somebody that has one you have to do some digging, and some trial and error. Do some browsing in the "everything but weed forum", lots of people doing it.

They guard legit vendors on their like OBAMA guards his birth cert.

Do people actually put pharmys in their body without learning about what they are first?
I guess it could really be dangerous if you don't follow the safety guidelines. Every time you pick up a prescription of this, a sheet comes with it that says "Do not stop taking this without consulting a doctor."

There are millions of people that truly trust their doctors and think that dr are never wrong, even though we know that they are...but some people just toss back whatever they are given by the man getting paid to take care of them and also to sell those pills...

HOly crap, I was just recently prescribed ambien to take half of one pill and it was nice, I felt calm and serene, but not asleep..so peacefully lay there til 3 am...and the doctor has said if taking 1/2 wasn't doing it then take the whole one...so tonight I took a whole one and suddenly I had to vomit...severely...and I did, and then I felt fine again, but then I looked at a present my daughter got for her birthday and the words and colors were like moving all about, but just gently...I feel as though the whole screen and my keyboard with it are sliding ever so gently to the left. I know they aren't really but I still have to play hunt the keys..anyway in comes my husband and he asks me why I am holding the bubble blower box sitting in the bathroom floor? Well because when I got done throwing up I hallucinated that all the things on this box were moving...do you think it was that medicine...? so I looked it up and indeed hallucinations are not uncommon, but they didn't say if you should be worried or not...I mean is this, or is this not a big deal...I mean I kind of like it, but it almosts feels the way a warning bell sounds...ominous...the fact that hallucinations are brought on by vomiting...might help to lose weight...

I had no idea that was a possible side effect...Guess I should have read first and swallowed later...so...I am what I complain about...of course I am...

lay off the pills ;-)

lay off the pills ;-)

What is is what I am supposed to take...try taking a 1/2 pill the first night and if that works then take half a pill.
If that doesn't work take the whole pill.
What he should have said was if the half doesn't work then take a whole pill but watch out for nausea vomiting and hallucinations...But no...he just said that if halk wan't enough take a whole pill the next night...
I can only imagine what might happen if you abused these things...crazy
