February is the SC challenge. Monday is the cross appeal regarding the issues that fell through the cracks in April. Things like carry amount, effective dates etc.,etc.
ok I see. So we can't possibly lose our MMAR licenses on Monday right?

Well, from what i understand HC is appeling the injunction. So they are fighting to have the injunction eliminated. Conroy and Co are cross appealing and saying the injunction didnt go far enough. So in theory if the judge is convinced by HC we could loose the injunction and be forced to go MMPR. Another thing i heard, were being allowed 2 appeals...if we loose in february we can apply for another one. Anyone here of this also?

The February date is to determine the constitutionality of the mmpr. Monday they will fix things like possession limits, moving your garden etc. for mmar patients.
Ok i see now. Big thx for explaning it to me. So is their still a chance MMPR gets shut down?

There is a chance that the courts tell HC that the MMPR has to be reworked. They are not going to say there is no longer an MMPR program. I predict that the court will say there is a problem with the current MMPR program and give the government one year to come up with a solution.

I totally agree. But I personally expect them to continue to lean on the "Think of the investors and money spent" argument along with the usual reefer madness broken record they've been using for decades.

I really don't think giving them ANOTHER year to try and set up the MMPR will work. Simply based on how the first year spent setting up this new system was spent. Lazily if you ask me. What they came up with could have been done in a summer or less, and that's being generous. Any new program will have kinks but this is well beyond that. It was greatly flawed from the get go. They will come back with another broken, flawed proposal all because they don't want the system to exist to begin with. Again leaving patients to suffer all in the name of "helping" us.

IF they are given time to "work things out" what happens to patients in the mean time? There ARE people who WILL pass away in that time, waiting for something that they have the medical necessity for and legal right to have access to.

I agree with ya 1000% calyx. How many more people need to suffer and die till investors HC and LP's can there shit together. I hope the courts see it as unconstitutional thus ending the so called green rush that was put on the patients backs to carry. Any judge or person in there right mind would see how unattainable the mmpr is for patients to get the medicine they need!!!

Peace

No suffering if your rich and can handle smoking hay all day. Oh wait even then the lp's can't give you your whole months meds at one time unless you have a gram a day script.

But in a year, there will be more people licensed, adresing the 'access' issue. Heck, HC has been sitting on about ten approvals for the last six months, they'll probably announce them on monday :)
