Ok, you dont seem to understand the difference between federal, state and local taxes.

We dont need to be having the federal government deduct taxes from us so they can cherry pick the pork projects they want to fund based on political expediency. The state governments are for the most part in charge of roads, schools, police, firemen, etc.

The federal government needs to cut tax rates, not raise them.
See that's where you're wrong. For the sake of the argument and simplicity I cut a lot of what I would have said out in fear that people as they do, like to skim and respond keyboard warrior style. Had I continued on with a well throughout reply it would probably be a small book.

Equality is equality, flat tax across the board (including capital gains) with no deductions.

The person on the less money will be availing of public services more, no?
I edited my post with an equality scenario actually. I'm all for equality. To do it right, we would have to completely rebuild our entire Governing system, schooling system and just about everything else that you can think of. You say equality I say African Americans unemployment rate is double that of White Americans. Equality? I think not. Humanity can't be equal. We are too emotional. It's impossible.

Equality is a bit of a joke to be honest. You want equality on every level that effects you in a negative way. "I pay more taxes, rubbish! You should pay the same as me!" I don't hear anyone saying "well, I have more money than you, I'll be EQUAL and give you just as much as I have" You have poor people saying "Well that's not fair he has more money than me! Of course he should pay more in taxes than I!" How is any of this equality? It's not, it's a joke. We will never see equality in this fucking World. People are too fucked up and all about self benefit.

The rich want tax equality so they don't have to pay as much, the poor want tax inequality so they don't have to pay as much. Everyone is all about themselves. This is the recipe for an unsustainable society. And that's exactly what we have.

When you say on capital gains
you just lost every single politician that backs a flat tax
I like the way you use "including" lol
Income is Income. A dollar earned is a dollar made. Weather earned it with a hammer or a dollar. it's income.

Thats why Clinton Raised taxes and the fastest growth we have ever seen was in the 90s
Correct?
US Economic growth in the 90's has little to do with taxes and more to do with the internet and computer revolution, but hey, if thinking that more taxes = economic bliss, then you can pay more than your share. You know that right? Yep, the IRS will take any amount of money you care to send it. Send in all you make, 100% of it and see if the economy takes off.

So, a percentage of your labor belongs to someone else at no cost to them? We call that slavery.

Try this at home
run up the credit card on shit you want
blame the wife for the bills when they come due
Cut the family expenses, only on your wifes stuff not yours
quit your job and take one that pays half as much

are you bills getting paid?
Try this one, Any person making $250,000 per year or more gets taxed 100%, they lose every penny. What happens to the deficit? It gets bigger and bigger still. Mathematically it is not possible to make the deficit decrease even if you tax every person 100% of every penny they make.

The only way to pay this off is to devalue the dollar into the ground.

If you mean paying 33% to the IRS is the percentage to "them" I am paying then yes I'm a slave.
But unfortunately My Master favors wealthier slaves with a lower percentage rate.

Every time I walk into a store and look at a product I see the 7% increase in the price because of credit cards companies.
(I ask for cash discount whenever i can and some times get it)
Would you call that slavery?

So you don't own your own labor, someone else does. And you labor for them FIRST, not for yourself first.

That's choice, you don't have to buy your groceries from them, so no, that is not slavery.

FYI Prices don't go up because of CC companies, prices go up because your dollar is being devalued right before your very eyes.

Prices go up becuase the cost to produce goes up

Think Georgia farmers who couldnt even get parolees to pick the crops even with generous wages

Why does the cost to produce go up there genius?

So if the value of something I bought 30 years ago is now worth 20 times as much is it because they are having trouble producing them? In other words, the only reason a 1971 Hemi Dodge Challenger is worth $70,000 is because Dodge has to pay more to produce them?

If we have deflation are you going to then say the same thing?

O....M.....F.....G!!!!! if ever there was a candidate for summary execution its this bitch. must've been real hard work inheriting all that money. when the revolution comes she will definitely be the first one up against the wall.

1 becuase no one wanted to pick the crops
2 becuase their is more demand than supply (see #1)
3 econ 101 price goes up with demand

and that is just one factor of why prices are going up

Any income is income, it should be taxed as income. Capital gains, rent income, wages, etc all should be taxed the same rate.

Education should be free in the US too, the economy thrives with a well educated workforce and those people will pay for it in taxes when they are earning graduate level salaries rather than McDonalds level wages.

Think you can find a Republican flat tax proposal that taxes capital gains the same as income?

So even though there is about 20% less demand for gasoline than in 2010, we are paying 20% more? Supply and demand right?

The price of Corn is at its highest EVER, yet they produced 40% more corn than they did when it only cost $1.26 a bushel. Supply and demand right?

The price of a new Jaguar in 1970 was $11,000, the price of a new one today is more like $75,000. More demand right?

*because*

You got it.
Taxes are removed from my ck before I see it.
Pretty dumb.
The wise ones, uses others labors to achieve their goals, such as the Exxon in Iraq. Those tax dollars will be fueling China soon.
