Not quite the same concept. I've been busy, but I want to find a couple articles on the subject before I make a thread about it.
I was reading in Heisen's thread when this came up. A few light bulbs went off in my head too. I am anticipating you getting that thread going.I'm subbing up for sure.

I swear I'll get it going, gotta find an article or two first so I don't get trolled outta here, lol. I'm sure you can imagine at least half the replies are going to be people telling me how dumb I am.

Ha! Indeed. That thread will bring the broscience trolls out in full force. How dare you prove something that contradicts everything that has been embedded in the canna brain about H2o and pollen.

I'll try to do some research this weekend.

Flipped my soon to be males on 12/12 today, as soon as I start seeing sacs and collect some pollen I’m going to try the water theory method and see if it in fact does work! They are also in a different room so no chance of accidental pollination and I check my girls first before them to be safe until the day I go to pollinate

Cool man, I did some Google searching and all I could find was some pollen suspension spray. Having a hard time finding any real articles on the subject.

Not sure if this was already stated, but I think the rule of thumb for me goes "Separate for pollination, and leave it out until the female hairs start to curl or wilt where it was pollinated. That generally means it was successful and it's starting the seed creation. Usually about 10-14 days after pollination.

Just a little update, been using the colloidal silver spray on them since the 28th of January, starting to see some hair clusters and bud formation starting this week. And the hairs are turning brown and dying one day to the next when I’m using the silver spray. Waiting now for male pollen sacs to start growing and collect some pollen to use and some to try with water in order to also try that!
