I still use MG and have good luck with it.
First things first (as soon as I open a bag) I bake it at 300 deg for 1/2 - 3/4 hr. then flush the tar out of it before planting after putting into pots, etc. For short term storage I'll fill 5 gal pails and seal up some with trash bags. If I don't use in a couple mos. I'll re-bake again before use.
Also every 3rd or 4th watering I'll do a mild to light flush and add new nutes (Foxfarm). Also every watering gets that 1/4 cup peroxide.
Used to have issues with bugs, mold, and what-nots. Since I started sticking to the above formula,, nothing but good results. I can almost hear my plants hummm with happyness. (seriously, I'm very pleased with this and MG)
