Please help with transplant!

Currently have a plant that is in it 2nd weed of veg. Originally planted the seedling in a 1gal container and it’s been in that container since. Today is day 32 (week 4 day 4) since initially planted and was curious if it’s too early to transplant into a 3 or 5 gal pot? I was preferring a 5 gal so I wouldn’t have to transplant again (transplanting scares me lol) but was wondering if it’s too early or if 5 gal pot is too much? Any advice appreciated!

Some people plant seed directly into 5 gallon containers. It will be fine

Why does transplanting scare you ? Tip the plant over if it gots a lot of roots transplant it if not put it back You Will be just fine

I went as large a 7g in my 2x2.5' tent.
If you are growing with organic dry ferts, the more soil the better.

No problem. I could fit a 15 gal pot in a 2x2, lol.

You should get some Mykos too to sprinkle on the rootball, and new hole.

Luckily I’ve never killed anything from transplanting, just always a sketchy process. It doesn’t ever all come out together for me..

Transplanting when completely dry will ensure it falls apart when transplanting.

This tutorial will stop you being scared of transplanting.

It’s a simple process of filling your new pot around your old pot and then lift out drop the plant in and water it.

That does not happen unless you are transplanting prematurely.
Everything shrinks when the pot is dry, and drops right out of the pot.

Just transplanted two today. I always do it halfway between wet and dry.

I just tip the plant over lots of roots or barely any I just tap the bottom and pop it off if your using smart pots that’s a different story

They have cool transplant pots too if you're using fabric pots. I've got a huge box from 247 garden.
