Please help! What deficiency am I looking at?

I'm not a pro, but I'm thinking they look hungry. Looks like you're in late flower, and super soil often has used up all it's super-ness by now. I know I use to have to feed my plants in super soil the last few weeks quite often.

Have you found yourself in a situation where you used a synthetic supplement for a "quick fix", or do you stick to organics & get something that is water soluble?
Hoping this question may help develop a solution for the OP.

Yes, I would use GH Flora nutes, often most of the way through flower as I would do long vegs usually.

I made the switch to coco....Figured might as well since I was using synthetics anyways, and coco's a lot less work, for the most part.

Of course you could top dress with something organic or make teas if he insists on staying organic.

I'm not 100% sure that the problem though, so maybe others will chime in. looked like he's pretty close to the finish line too, so not unusual to have some dying leaves.

I added a compost tea on Sunday. They didn’t look like this then. The brown is all new. I will start adding calmag.
How many weeks have you been in flower?

I was hoping you'd get some other opinions on this...I get the same thing sometimes late in flower and then sometimes the leaves mostly all stay green til harvest. My 2nd guess is too much light or heat stress.

Hoping for a few more opinions from the experts??

It is a Calcium issue.
Whether there's not enough in the soil or it's unavailable; I don't have a clue, I've never used supersoil in my life.
I had similar looking plants once during a dwc run early/mid flower cycle.
In my case, I needed to add a bit more Calcium and up the EC a little for the light intensity I was using.

Good to know. I have a bit of it right now myself, but what's weird is I have 2 grows going currently, all exactly the same except for one thing....One tent has a much stronger light, and that's the tent that has the browning. The weaker light grow is totally fine.

So my assumption then is the plants need more calcium due to getting stronger light intensity???

Another question....How much calmag would you recommend in coco, using RO water and GH Flora nutes? I've been using 2ml per gallon....but apparently that's not enough for my bigger LED.

Seems you have empirically confirmed that nute requirements and light intensity are highly correlated.
2ml of CalMagic will provide ~30ppm Ca and 10ppm Mg in addition to whatever your base nutes provide.
Adding more CalMg alone is probably not a wise idea. Consider raising your EC 10% and see what happens.
What is the current nute recipe you're using w/ the GH Flora?

I appreciate the help!! And I learned a new word....empirically.

I'm using the Flora simple drain to waste, and this is my first time growing in coco.....Canna coco.

I did take GH's advice and used 5 ml calmag per gallon the first 2 weeks. I'm using RO water.

Auto feed system watering 4 x day, in my main tent, and that's the ones showing deficiency.

I honestly know nothing about EC. I have been keeping my PH between 5.5-6.5, and my ppm's in line with the chart. I do have a cheap EC meter, but that's something I never worried about before.

I do have a pretty strong light in the main tent...a progrow 1800

Any good suggested readings about EC for me??

Probably the first thing I need to do is buy a decent EC meter. I do have a decent Apera PH pen.

Here's what i have, and readings I just took from my res. The EC readings made no sense to me on this meter, from what little I have read.

I did add 40 ml of cal mag to my res last night, and there's roughly 20 gallons total in there....And then I read your reply today saying not to do that.

I haven't done a flush yet either, and I have no problem dumping these 20 g's of nutes down the drain if you think I should start fresh!!

Which chart are you following?
GH changed their Flora feed charts a few years ago, the current one is much closer to 1:1:1 for M:G:B

EC meters are very simple, cheap ones work fine (unlike pH meters!)

The EC value displayed is 2x the PPM value displayed. Stick to EC as that's what the meter is actually measuring, PPM is just a derived value that has nothing to do with the elemental PPM in the mix (unless you're measuring table salt). The 1336 microsiemens displayed is the same as 1.3EC using millisiemens.

Is the displayed reading after adding 2ml/gal of CalMg?

Thanks for the explanation!! That makes sense!!

Yes, my display was after adding the extra calmag.

I guess I am using the old charts....I also had some of the "extras" leftover, so I was doing the "expert" mix about half the time.

I'm in week 5 currently.

I just downloaded the new charts. Thank you!!

So it looks like my EC is a little low?

How do I fix that?

Your EC is quite low for the lighting; 2ml/gal CalMg is about .3EC on its own, so you were only feeding ~1.0 EC

You fix it by raising your EC; i.e. add more nutes to your reservoir.

2mg/gal CalMg is a good idea w/ RO water, but I'd avoid the rest of the unnecessary supplements - at least until you get your issue resolved.
