To much of everything will stunt young seedlings in DWC. They can't take as much water and nutrients in the beginning.
You're better of watering those by hand before they got a lot of laterals going through the netpots. Don't run to high water levels, you need a good gap between the netpots and the water level.
Easier to kill a plant using peroxide, bleach is way safer to use. Don't be afraid of using chlorine. Here the dilution calculator posted all over this forum, Chlorine dilution calculator. Regular bleach (sodium hypochlorite) 3-5ppm is recommended in DWC.
Bigger plants with larger root masses need higher amounts of residual chlorine. I usually increase strength slightly as the plant grows. More plant matter means more stuff to oxidize.
