Plants wilting under new LED's

Hey everyone.

So finally was able to upgrade from my wimpy T5's to my new LED light.
This is my first time growing LED. I was growing under a pretty small 2 bulb T5 light from Agrobrite.
My plants weren't getting enough light and were stretching pretty bad.
Finally got the Viparspectra R900 900W LED in. I switched the lights out. the manual said to start with only the Veg switch on then once they're acclimated switch both Veg and Bloom switches on. So only the Veg switch is on atm.
The first day they acted completely fine but the LED let off more heat than expected and ended up drying out my soil in the first 2 days. I noticed some under watering stress. Watered them and they bounced back by the next morning. Also got some additional fans and got some circulation coming through the door.
The day after that (yesterday) my tops were wilting so I was thinking they were too close to the LED so I raised it up from about 20 inches above canopy to 26 inches above canopy.

but today they're still wilting and I'm not seeing any growth. Is this regular? Should I expect some stress/shock when introducing them to a much more powerful light? Anything I can do to help these girls out or should I just let them adjust.

Some additional info about the grow.
1 Orange Creamsicle and 1 Cuvee
I'm only feeding them PH'ed water in veg as that's how I like to do it. PH'ed water is always kept from about 6.0-6.5
Temps are kept between 80 degrees and 85 degrees (at least I do my best to keep it in this range)
LED light is about 26.5 inches from top leaves on my canopy.
Pictures attached.

What medium are these in? Turn both switches on. That light won’t overwhelm. Keep it high though. What is the temperature in the room?

Sorry forgot to post the medium. Always forget to mention something haha
These are in Soil.
Temps are usually at about 80-85 Degrees F.

Also something I just noticed. I'm getting some yellow Fan Leaves down near the bottom of my plants. Only 1 or 2 per plant. I'm assuming cause these are leaves that weren't getting enough light with the T5's so the plant was sucking the nutes out and letting them die off?
Haven't done much lollipopping on these yet. Could maybe be a symptom of an issue I'm having here?

Have you fed anything yet? Is the medium fairly dry or is it wet and heavy ?

I haven't done any nutes in this stage. Only PH'ed water.
I water when the pots feel dry and are dry 2-3 inches down. At the moment the top of the soil is dry but the pots are heavy as I just fed them last night.
I usually have it down to a system as to how often I water once I'm used to the pots, lights, temps etc and how quick they dry out.

Plants still haven't bounced back fully. Have gotten a bit better but still a bit droopy and sad looking.
Switched on both bloom and veg switches today. Anything I should try?

Must be something to do with the light. I got a 450 a few days ago and the same has happened to mine. Moved back under the cfl for the time being and they are thriving again. Any ideas anybody? Is yours the same @Kpall ?

That’s a fair point but I have been growing for years without problems. And why the sudden change under the light but temps and humidity have remained the same. Also the light just looks funny, not normal having so much a lack of white light

My plants loved going from a cheap “1000 watt” Chinese veg/bloom led to a viparspectra xs2000.

I gradually did it though like hardening a plant off to go outside.

I measured the light intensity of the cheap light and then dimmed the viparspectra to match, then slowly increased it each day.

I just did the same thing. I upgraded from a Spider farmer sf1000 to an sf4000.
My plants were perky and thriving on Monday morning, and I installed this light Monday afternoon.
Noticed them starting to droop yesterday, and my pots felt lighter than normal and my soil was dry.
Watered yesterday and woke up this morning and they were a little bit better but still drooping.
Had the light at 18 inches from the canopy during flowering which was recommended by the manufacturer but it was too intense and really did a number on my ladies. Raised it to 30 inches and lowered the dimmer to 90% and hopefully they bounce back.

This droop seems to really hit those who upgrade mid-grow from CFL to LED without bringing the LED power up slowly. Seen alot of threads lately where this looks to be the common denominator...just a thought.

I noticed that too, it looks like that is the common issue throwing them under an LED coming from a T5 or other light source
