lol thats crazy guys.. thats a grow box of a guy that ends up on the news for his house catching on fire and getting arrested for growing lol.. dude u want to be cheap.. run to walmart they have these changing tents . or shower tents.. its 4x4x 7 feet tall. take that thing for 40 bucks .. set it up.. go grab some panda film .. line the entire thing ,, and boom u got a 4x4 grow tent. pop some holes for an exhaust and intake.. and ur good. i am in the process.. of making it into a male box.. for breeding :)

I have told him it is a fire hazard waiting to happen and t5 2 foot flouros would yeild probably more in that box. He is determined to runn a 400/600w light and grow in open bottom cups. Hats of to the dude cause he is pushing the boundries of extreme, totally the most uniffecient grow ever!lol!

i had spare piece of entertainment
and the a/c and tempered glass make a sweet combo for heat problems,i have other treads with pics of me bleaching my plants. that's how close this set-up lets me get my plants,i dont have to wrap or paint the box cause i dont care about wasted light
i will have some IR anti-detection film soon

Ok if you wana grow like this, best thing i can advise to reduce futher fire risk is maybe take the light ballast and place it outside of the grow room. Anyway dude i am inpressed with the grow, you have at least produced some results in those cups and learnt a trick or two.

I feel the next grow could be influenced by what people have commented on and changed accordingly but as for now grow with what you got if thats what takes you. What other ideas caan we come up with to help your plants? Maybe fill the whole tray with soil and plant them in that, might be a slightly bigger container.

The exsposed roots look ok but not that great, how are you dealing with these? Any browning of the roots yet due to air exsposure?
 
iam going to switch a aeroponics feed before i flower,
what size mesh pots does it take to finish a grow?
the light will be switched to hangers(no more black entertainment piece) and iam getting a bigger sheet of glass,but its all waiting till i get my room fitted with some I.R. anti-detection.
i did have root browning till i started using the heater pad
 
Whats so important about the ir anti-detection? I read a lot of case law on this in law class this last term. About half the cases i read they deemed using ir cameras as a way of getting search warrants an invasion of privacy. Are you worried someone expects you of growing, if they wanted to find you your ip address will lead them right to you. why so worried?
 
Yer i live in an area where you get busted by choppers too, never see that light though, its more the heat signature it leaves. Leave your oven on all day and the chopper will also pick that up after the heat builds up in the house. I.R. sheets i believe cuts 90% and above detection rates but i don't bother. Peace of mind is what you want not us telling you it will be ok. Still flouros are harder to detect than a whooping big light like that. If you had the money i bet you would like to do a different grow.

you run one light bro, no choppers are going to be coming for you. You really think the cops give a shit about your little grow, i personally wouldn't waste my money on that anti detection. just be mindful of where your heat is being exhausted, thats what gets the cops attention. or if they have reason to believe your growing they might take a look at your place with an ir camerea. As far as them just flying over the neighborhood and picking up your house, i highly, highly don't that will ever happen. you have one light, don't trip, vent under the house, dont let it stink to high heaven, you will be just fine.
 
Yer he wants peace of mind, told him no chopper ever gona register 1x600w light in a house. Ah let him grow, with that setup he certainly got balls, probably gona fail but hey, he got this far and hes learnt a bit. Peace
 
Rip that tin foil out! No good for the grow and reflects minimal light, just gives hotspots in this situation.
 
i know about foil,just something i had left over from building my grow room,i dont need and more light just trying to keep the bottom leaves from elongating
 
Well dude you are failing here too, reflecting light up into the leaves has negliable effect on photosynthesis, rip it out its useless! What is the hydro/aero part of this grow, you constantly spraying the roots or running a drip feeder to the top of the plant? Don't get these details. Thanks
