Depending on the soil it should buffer on its own just fine.

Oh boy hopefully you got a good batch they’re very inconsistent. But you won’t have to ph with it just water.
Oh are they? I have never used it before had just read good reviews on so I pulled the trigger on it. Does it usually lack nutrients?

When looking for information on a product the first place to start is with the product website. They say to keep the pH range between 6 and 6.5 which I don't think you need to do because the ingredients are nothing that's not in any other organic soil.
I've never used it but just took a quick look at their website so I have no first hand knowledge of the product. Just the information provided by the manufacturer.

If you have an accurate soil pen by all means test away. I’m saying the microbes will take care of everything ph related as long as things are on point.

that's good to note, I'm using Gaia all purpose live soil organic when it's time to transplant into veg. This soil should take care of itself. thanks

pH what's going in, not what the soil is doing. Unless you have an accurate soil pH pen.
I tested the water from the tap and it was reading 7.7 is that high?
Do you adjust that down or leave it when watering?

I don't do soil but the recommended range is 6-7. Others will say the soil and microbes will self adjust but I'd make sure it was lower.

I leave it. There’s literally no need for it. The microbes will bring that down. Plus topping with Gaia green I’m sure it has some ph stabilizers in it.
