Pelt's First Grow Box and Indoor Grow Journal

So I figured I would try my hand at making some ISO-Hash. I've never done this before. I usually use my trimmings and scuff to bake with once or twice a year.

I grabbed some trimmings from the bottom of my curing jars, and some other trimmings I had left over. I should have weighed it first.

Here is a pic of the trimmings I used, it's not much at all.

Here is the strainer:

You can see the majority of the ISO has evaporated:

Here is me scraping. I cut it with a bit of baking soda to aid in the scraping:

And here is the little 2.5gram ball of joy in all it's glory! I have no idea what to expect with this.

man honestly i dunno ive never made it. another dude made some tht i talk with on this site but i forgot who it was lol. i think dj ruiner maybe? let me know how it turns out and how it smokes and what not.

Here are some pics of Group C, the Northern Light in the small 1/2 gallon pot. I was taking some pics wile "Making it Rain" on her this morning. Still, I am very happy with the growth of this girl. I wish she hadn't stretched quite so much. I should have had her closer to the light throughout her grow.

But she is still loooking very good. Depending on how this turns out, I may start to do a lot of 1/2 gallon pots as I'll be able to get more strains in per cycle. And the smaller pots are much easier to deal with.

Here is that portion of Group B that I harvested about a week ago, and has been going through that initial dry. I put her into a jar last night to begin that process. Just showing in the pic the color of this one, a bit different than the last. I definitely think I pulled Group A a tad too early.

The pic quality isn't that great. One picture is a comparison of one of the nugs from my first harvest, and this latest. But notice there is a much more 'orange' color to this one. The calax hairs a much riper.

Group C(Northern Lights): Currently Day 43 of Flower
Group D(Jock Horror): Currently Day 28 of Flower
Group E(Jock Horror): Currently Day 4 of Veg
Group A(Northern Lights): COMPLETED Day 58 of Flower
Group B(Northern Lights): COMPLETED Day 71 and 72 of Flower

Chopped the rest of Group B today.

Here is the crispy ass mutant plant, with the crappy buds:

Here is the more normal plant that produced some decent buds. This is only half as I removed the top portion of this plant about a week ago.

Here is most of it, minus what I have shown that I harvested a week ago, and the herb that is water curing:

I decided to try out some water curing for the buds that where too small to bother to hang:

nice i did a water cuse on an o of regs i got. takes alot of taste out but its deff a smooth smoke. make sure you drain and refil the water daily

Thanks bud! I do think I have it dialed in now, but JUST NOW. As in I think with this last harvest (which I didn't care for), I have everything arranged the way I like. Next problem is going to be when the weather changes and I have to relocate the cab to the basement or something.

Nice to see how things are going. I started my second grow. It's in my sig if you want to check it out. I had to make a whole new box but it's much more functional now. Light traps on the vents and a new custom carbon filter I built. Happy growing

Hey pelt, Just read all 24 pages and ++Rep for this rad Journal.

++Rep. Hey Gprime. I am subbed to Crazytrain's journal. I have thought about tupperware, but only after I built my cab. Right after that though, Steve's cardboard box grow a while back gave me the idea for my second box that I made for my vegging. That thing was budget basement as it was some crappy wood I had laying around. Only things that costed money for it where the power strip, the hinges, DC converter and the lock I put on it. At the time I was thinking about maybe doing tupperware at the time as well.

Got the dry weight for Group B.

My mutant plant yielded 31 grams. The more healthy/normal plant total dry weight is 33 grams. Just a note, I did pull about 30grams of wet material out of these two plants that are now "water-curing."

Half of my normal plant will be done curing on the 29th of March. This is shown in the jar all the way on the right. Those buds look fabulous.

The other half of that plant is in the jar in the middle. That will be ready to try on the 4th of April.

This mutant plant looks like crap, the buds just aren't nice fluffy ones. It's kinda leafy. This is in the jar on the left. That will be ready on the 4th of April as well. I'm totally expecting that to be schwag. Although after curing for a few hours the inside of the jar smells awesome!

Yo! Tonight will be Day 5. So on the 16th I will be hanging the water-cure up to dry!

I can't wait to try that out.
