Thanks Joker for stopping in and checking out my girl Sassy. I did not know that the free seeds I got from Nirvana was a sativa strain, I was growing her in a pc case. She got too wide for the case but I plan to fill it with Blue mystic auto's.

i always kind of wondered how the free seed deal went do they just have a bunch in a bag marked mixed or does each of the mixed seeds have a name to it so at lest you have some idea what your doing/growing>?>??

well thats no funn lol but then again it coul be if you have the time and space. what about th seeds you ordered did they come in a bag that just said "name" not even a card telling you a bit about your seeds?? type flowering time ect ect?

You are right about that it's no fun trying to grow a suprise with limited space. Now seeds I ordered was labeled Blue Mystic but the free seeds were labeled "Freebies". No strain name or flowering time was given. Nirvana's FAQ states that the seeds are taken from a big bowl so to speak and even they can't identify the seeds.

Here is an update on Sassy, I feed her with MG plant food (24N-8K-16P) on Wednesday 8/25/10. She's looking great. I also want the RIU crew to say hello to my little friends: 2 Blue Mystics and 1 Chronic or Hash/Haze ( the free seeds). Check out the pics and tell me what you think.

I watered Sassy and Kim today. I added more lights 3 days ago, for a total of 600w (CFL) and Sassy took off!!! Her clone Kim did too:) Check out the pics.....

Hey V, how's it growing:) Man Sassy just took off on me, I had to move her to the closet!!! You did tell me that I wouldn't be able to finish her in the pc. She still got about 7-8 more weeks of flowering. What a way to break in a newbie!

Day 13 with lights 24/0---2 BLUE MYSTICS(18/6 day 1) & 1 RED SPICE HASH(12/12 day 1)


According to marijuana-seeds, Sassy is a RED SPICE HASH with a flowering time of 8-10 weeks (contacted them for the name and flowering time) . I watered with nutes Sassy and Kim (Sassy's clone) on Sept 3, 2010 and they seem to love it. I transplanted the 2 Blue Mystic and 1 Red Spice Hash from the cups into their pots. I topped Kim to keep the Red Spice Hash strain going. I hope the RSH is a male so I can collect the pollen and use it on Kim's clone to make seeds. I figure that the newly transplanted RSH seed I got on 12/12 will show sex in the 3-4 weeks it takes Kim's clone (I think I'll call her Wendy) to grow roots.

OK, it's time for an update, my family is growing well and looking healthy. I got a helpful tip from V12xjs about feeding my growing family. Prepare full strength nutes for my Sassy and give her 1/2 of it, then take that 1/2 of nutes left and add pH water to it to dilute it and feed that to the younger family members. Any leftovers, give it to the house plant. This method saves time if you are growing plants at different stages. SASSY is budding pretty well, I'm adding another 42w light(2700k) today which will total 700w of cfls. She had some problems with the nutes I gave her but a good flush put her back on track. She really prefer some Miracle Grow plant food 24-8-16 (N-K-P) added to her nutes. My 2 BLUE MYSTIC BABIES have gotten big and they definitely have an odor, not strong but you can smell them. The Ona helps! I plan to get a Febrez plug-in odor eliminator for back up just in case I need it. I Lst KIM and she it doing very well. The RED SPICE HASH is growing at a nice pace, can't determine sex yet. Here's some pics....

I fed the family 9-21-10 with Miracle Grow Plant Food 24-8-16 and some Sugar Daddy. I fed Sassy and Kim the full strength of nutes, then added pH water to the remaining nutes and feed rest of the family. What I had leftover, I gave to the house plants. I watered the family on 9-23-10 (Sassy & Kim), 9-24-10 (2-Blue Mystics), and 9-25-10 (Red Spice Hash). One more watering, then I feed them nutes but this time I plan to use different nutes.
