You're right - it doesn't matter. In the real world, and in my profession, ethos matters very much. I have to remind myself that this is the internet and it is not way reflects or manifests daily reality. And I love argument and debate in real life, but again, I must remind myself that this is the internet - argument and debate do not take place. Instead, it's belittling and an obsession with winning. I have to constantly remind myself that arguing on the internet is like racing in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.
