I guess you would consider it soil. Bc I use soil. But not much. I use heavy coarse perlite. Mixed 3 to 1. 3 perlite 1 soil. I get almost hydro growth speed. But still get that good soil grown flavor. That's how I mix my big pots too. In a solo itd be roughly 2 shot glasses worth of soil the rest perlite. Lol. If I had to mix. But I mix it by the bag full so I always have stuff ready. Almost like a hempy bucket. I guess would be the best way to explain it.

It would be interesting to see the differences if everyone is growing the same strain, I'll have to watch for that one too.

It may be a while but I also look forward to it.

@Dear ol" Thankful Grower! pointed out something similar that takes place occasionally in the advertisers section called a comparison grow.

Thing is it is done by seed sellers that give out free seeds to be tested.
I think it would be better with already tested genetics that are known to be stable by the seller.

That's going on right now, it started this morning.
It's in the "In It To Win It" section.
You have to buy a T-shirt.

Going to start a test run and see which configuration gives me the most weight. Also, is highest yield the only goal or do looks count in the contest as well? Or do we vote at the end if theres more than two people left in the comp? How does someone win exactly?

I don't think there's really any dire need to make sure you have a sprout on the 1st. I believe contestants will have 2 weeks from the 1st to show proof of germination/seedling. Additionally, I'm sure the contest end date will be far enough to guarantee that all entries have had enough time to mature before harvesting.

This is going to be a fun contest i'll try to participate or watch at the very least. I need to get some kind of LED light thou, the only thing I have at the moment is 5.3 actual watt led bulb that I thought was 23 watts when I ordered :wall:
Looking forward to this . I've got some fem Double Zero OGK from Mosca I can pop.:dunce:
