Partner's Attitude Order Snatched BY Feds

I have been ordering from Attitude for 6 years and never had a problem getting my beans. My buddy wasn't so lucky. He just received his $400 seed order complete with stealthy mode and ordered a T-shirt too. Package was all taped together with tape marked "US CUSTOMS" and the beans were snatched. This is the first time I have heard of an order being snatched where the bean buyer had gone to so much trouble in ordering. Only reason I can think of for his order getting so much attention is the size of the order. Maybe the Customs folks saw a $400 order and got suspicious. My typical order with Attitude is for $100-150 and I always order a stealth kit and a T-shirt. So far I got a dozen shirts and no word from the feds. This is posted as general info and a reminder to be careful out there. BigSteve. P.S. -- order was placed from northern Michigan.

The general rule is not to exceed 150$/order, anything over that seems to get searched, if you are spending in excess of that its best you divide your order up into multiple orders, also gets you more free beans :hump:

The Feds don't know how much you spent on an item. Have you ever seen anything in the mail that says "this is a $400 package"? No, because then people would probably steal it. The idea behind splitting up an order is incase your beans do get nabbed, you only lost $100 worth, not $400.

What trouble did he go through ordering? Other than clicking stealth and sending money?

Either way, way, sucks about his beans.

I think the problem is the fact that the beans were in a T Shirt. Shirts coming through customs are notorious for counterfeits, hence the extra search. Doesn't help going through O'Hare either...

Everyone I know orders with the t-shirt. It was the size of the order, the 't-shirt' went through the xray and they ay say 50 or so small seeds, your mistaken if you think their not trained to know what mj seeds look like when they go through the xray, ordering 10 or so could be sequence or designs on the shirt, but a cluster of them in one area of the package in what appears to be plastic bags is easily spotted.

Counterfeit T Shirts are a multi-billon/year industry. Add in the fact that he's going through the busiest International Airport in the country for customs and there you have it...Someone made a thread a few weeks ago with a video showing O'Hare customs at work...It's worth a watch

Ill look for the vid i would be interested in seeing, but honestly anything from t-shirts-jewelry is heavily counterfeited. I have a hard time believing they open up a package containing ONE T-shirt(BIG BUST GUYS!!, Well worth our time!) and say "you can tell this is a fake nike t-shirt by getting the right angle of the logo to line up with the left armpit". Counterfeiting clothing is easy and really hard to spot... after all its just cotton not metals.

Quite common in the last 6 months or so. There are some threads in strain review about this.

I talked to a Customs investigator a few years ago when I had a couple expensive insured packages disappear in the mail. She said even if they find beans in your order they NEVER send anyone to your house. All they can do, she said, was send you a letter saying part of the package was confiscated. Still, the whole subject makes cloning look better, eh? BigSteve.

Read the big thread about it. Some never get letters, some get taunting notes in their packages back and some get no seeds and some do. LOL
