paranoid now, pre flower opinion wanted!!

so my camera sucks, this plant's been flowering a week and i'm pretty sure i've found out some bad news this morning. the drawing attached is pretty much what i see: at each 'node' or little branch intersection, there are the pre flowers and almost all are accompanied by a single ball. Could this ball be a pistillate waiting to sprout white hairs?

i'm not trying to make any seeds for next time. should i wait til the flowers develop or am i pretty safe by killing this guy?

i like pot more than digital cameras. here's a pic, but it's totally awful. there is a ball at each joint though.

there are many other plants in the room.

the pics, again, are bad. the second drawing is what the lil ball looks like.
