Overwatered, underwatered, or overheated?

Overwatered, underwatered, overheated or some combination of them?

These 2 were a bit droopy yesterday, so I opted not to water them at their scheduled time last night. I thought maybe they were a bit overwatered (even though I didn't think I had given them any more H2O than usual).

Today they were double droopy. The soil is bone dry.

The light makes the room extremely warm, and the room is still relatively new, so I do not have a thermometer in there yet. But I did raise the light another 6-8" and moved the two problem plants away from being directly underneath.

What do you think about the looks of these ladies? (the photo with 3 plants, it was for comparison, the 2 on the left are giving me problems)

How much light do you have they? They look a little stretched too. Unless your doing like 12/12 from seed they may not be getting enough light either. This is all my opinion someone else could chime in and tell me Im wrong which I may be. If we had more information about the grow it would help as well.

Well water the goddam things they look wilted, pretty unusual situation for this forum. Just use tap water, no nutes. They should show a great rebound in 2-3 hours.

If that does not fix the problem, and you will know very shortly, get back with some fresh pics.

If the soil is in fact "bone dry" it will wilt the plant in short order, but no harm done if you get some water back in it during the next day / growing cycle.

They'd have to be extremely overwatered to be wilting like that I'd have to agree with Gonenowhere and AimAim that their underwatered. Are the pots heavy? Does the top of the soil feel moist? It'd have to be like mud if overwatering was causing your problem and it looks dry in the pic but I can't tell for sure without actually being there or having a clearer pic.

You can't tell the difference between under watered and over watered? Your watering shouldn't be on a schedule. You water when the plant needs it.
Feel how heavy the bucket is when it's dry, then when it's wet, you will be able to tell the difference, and when the bucket gets light again, water.

DRY.....they are a day away from dead. Those roots are hurting.....introduce water slowly, let the roots sip.....don't flood they cant drink like they used to.
