outdoor growshed problems... HELP!

so this summer was my first grow... and we kinda messed up... but thats a story in itself... but we built a shed (4'x8'x8') without a roof to let in light, so no one could gain access but us. well were almost ready to harvest and we came o think how could we use this in the winter. this brought forth several issues.

a) Temperature- we in the south so its not too bad, but it can be kinda bad. it gets as low as 20f on bad days, but averages about 30-40. we thought about several insulations (fiberglass, styrofoam, etc.) and we would need a way to regulate it, but i need y'alls input on that.
b) Electricity- we have no power source. bottom line. we thought about generators but that would be too noisy, costly, etc. we also thought of running a extension cord underground from some surrounding houses, but that would be like leaving a trail of crumbs... any ideas?
c) Light- We thought about putting a plexiglass roof on but would this trap enough heat? would it trap too much? would the light/dark cycle provide enough light? also, we thought about getting that fiberglass insulation with mylar on one side, or just mylar or whatever. again, just give me your thoughts...

those are just the main 3, we can cover the rest. but just give me your thoughts... i'll try to post pics later, but i dont have a dig camera and i dont tink my buddy does either. uhh... if you think of any other potential problems, let me know... im a noob, this was my first grow.... like i said, we had 25 seedlings total (not all at once), and we only have 2 females....

20degrees is way to cold evean 30 or 40. i know some people use blankets to try and make there grows last past the frost stages like october but after that its natural for eeds to die. any way of inclosing fully like plexy glass will help and insulation. with out electricity thats all i got. and no if you put a roof over it ie plex its not gonna be to hot. they should be in temps of 70 75 at all times my grow room has it 90s befor and they survived. but cold is difrent it kills the roots or freezez em ie blankets.

Ive been in a similar situations. Definitely a good choice on not using generators and extension cords! As long as your in a green house you can grow year round with the light cycle so i would recommend just putting some greenhouse roofing and insulating the shed that should be plenty to keep it warm enough. If you do have a colder winter than average you can get a small solar panel that could trickle charge a battery and hook that up to an inverter and just plug a small light in to produce some heat or visa a versa if its to hot you can plug in a small fan. you can find small solar kits like that for less than a 100$ online and its a great because the electricity is free and off the power grid.

is there any way to regulate temperature automatically? [say if it goes below 75f something happens, and if it goes above 85 something else happens?] do you understand what im trying to say?

like idk if this would work but if it got too hot a fan could suck in cold air automatically, etc..

well this is outside so i cant do that.... is there a way to wire a thermostat so whenever it gets too hot it turns on a fan to suck out air (instead of turn on the A/C)?

sure, you can buy a 120 volt thermostat from home depot and wire it yourself or you can pay $40 more and buy a plug in 120 volt thermostat from a hydroponics shop.
