Other Veggies in my Grow Room :)

Ah shit just made a rookie mistake! I had to get the tomatoes and okra out of my grow room, damn things were infested with tiny black flying bugs, looked like baby gnats. They came from the Home Depot garden center (outside D D D) I know better than to bring outdoor plants into my indoor grow, or at least isolate them for a week or two to make sure theres no critters.

The plants really seem to like the natural sun

I had some garlic in the fridge sprout, so I planted them and there growing fast too. Also took some clippings off the mothers. And about 2 1/2 months I ago, I decided to throw in some Avocado Pits in the water. Nice root huh?

I'm germinating an Avocado pit too! I don't have any toothpicks though, but I do have a lucky Pokemon cup! (Clefairy)

Here are the pics.

And more baby Cilantro. I love white rice, with fresh cilantro and lime juice! Yummy, You can also get the same @ Chipotle, But when you make it fresh by it self, its dam good with a swordfish or Tune Steaks!:blsmoke:

I finally harvest my first veggie. Some good lookin cilantro. It smells so good once you cut it.

I put the rest back into flowering. It is supposed to keep growing back, and I can take clippings off of them every 3-4 weeks I believe. Having fun growing veggies along with my weed.:peace:

Looks delish. Where do you get tamarind seeds / pits or whatever? Mexican grocery market?

Mexican grocery market indeed! I buy the fruit when in season. Just make sure to buy the largest in diameter and length of fruit when you pick them out. Also the ones that are not cracked open already. You want the best of the best.

The very hard to getting started, but once they get past a month, there strong and grow well. But take a long time to produce. But give them time. There very nice tree. I have some that are going on 15 years and producing.

great thread...loved all the pics Dewey..and what a beautiful garden you have going........

Thanks man. All the plants I started growing about a week from stating my first grow of weed. I thought it would give me more experience and ease the pain on the wife from all the $ I spent to get started. Not to mention, she did not like the idea of growing weed, but I showed her my new Lic to smoke and grow, and said welcome to Cali!

Yea, there taking off really well. I think I am going to start a pepper farm next. I and my wife cook with lots of chillies and peppers, so i would like a wide range of them growing. Running out of space here and there and adding some outside helped. Keep watchin and thanks for stopping by Bud!

right on man....sounds good......i love growing all kinds of plants....check out my pumpkins and tomatoes bro, i have a big garden, but pumpkins are my favorite..i love pumpkins like you love tamarind.......I'm subscribed and I'll be watching your thread....:peace:

great job! I want to grow veggies inside but I don't know much about light cycles veggies require and what not. =\

I use the same as my weed. What we learn and do to our plants, is very good for veggies. The only thing I have discovered, is use 1/4 or 1/2 strength when using fert and you should see explosive growth in ur plants.

My Peppers and Cilantro are growing very well. The pepper plant you see was a cutting off one outside that was dieing. I forgot it being so small in the flower room would have put it into flowering. It looks like it will have about 7 peppers off a small clipping that was about 2 inches. Amazing.

Looks really cool, maybe next time I am at the store I will get some herbs to toss into solo cups, can't hurt!

I always loved fresh mint, when I was young we used to smoke mint leaves out of dried out hollow honeysuckle tubes.

That probably just sucked in retrospect, but it might be nice to dry and roll a tiny bit into a nice fat blunt.

Dude, that is a wonderful idea. Holy crap, never thought of menthol joints. Nice!

Yea dude, if you got extra space, might as well fill in the grow room with some veggies for sure man. I just picked up some California wonder pepper. Or otherwise Bell Pepper. I have some many other things I want to grow.

But yea, I think I will get some mint seeds soon. Thanks for stopping by. Keep me posted dude!

The first pic of the cilantro was already harvested once. So these babies grow back fast. Very nice to have a continuing supply of it.

Next pic is the other Cilantro I planted a mouth later after the
first one.

The third pic is of a Serrano pepper clone. I clipped it off the one outside, and at a young age, threw in flowering, and is ow making flowers. I could not believe how well it did. The clipping was only 2 inches. The next 3 pics are of its flowers.

The next 2 are pics of the Soybeans. There is about 20 on one plant. I wonder If I can clone them, and also once it produces, will it continue to?

My tomatoes are starting to show now. There are about a half a dozen, and plenty more coming. These plants have grown very well since seed.

Also an updated pic of the Tamarind Tree.
